We are currently looking for a Planning Engineer at the subsidiary Spaceopal in Munich, Germany. The Planning Engineer is responsible to create and implement in liaison with the Lead Service Delivery Manager a planning concept and to update it according to the evolving system and stakeholder requirements by introducing an adequate Software and process support. Heshe ensures the Service Operations by providing multiple but consistent plans for the daytoday operations as well as for the maintenance activities. The tasks of the Planning Engineer are Responsibilities Work in liaison with the Service Delivery Manager SDM Team Collecting all activities needed for Service Provision, planning the activities in three different timeframes, and keeping the stakeholders Contracting Authority and Spaceopal teams informed Interface for all GSOp Planning issues across all SPO teams Identifying and informing the stakeholders about planning conflicts, and suggesting solutions from the scheduling point of view Predefining plans for the different disciplines, like Flight Operations, Ground Operations, Mission Operations, Security Operations and User Service Participating to the Coordination Meetings as well as the Planning Meetings at the different timeframes and levels, by providing schedules and accessing solution to scheduling conflicts from a planning perspective Supporting the Contracting Authority by preparing the LongTerm Plan and the MidTerm Plan Information Interface to the Contracting Authority in conjunction with the Lead SDM and the Evolution and Engineering Manager Deriving the LEOPIOT Timelines in coordination with the LEOPIOT responsible persons in SPO as well as all affected SPO CTMs Supporting the Service Provision Prediction as well as providing support to KPI Measurements Tracking each planned activity in the different timeframes and providing feedback Supporting the evolution to an integrated planning, configuration and resources management system The project schedule has to be respected for all planning tasks The arrangement of operations and deployment should also be scheduled by means of the planning system. The same applies to the evolution releases. Skill Requirements University degree in a relevant field e.g. Commercial Engineering, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Telecommunications or Electronics Significant experience on operations engineering, operations preparation and execution. Experience related to developments and operations in the Galileo project GIOVE, IOV, FOC will be beneficial. Good communication skills and the capability to work in a complex environment with multiple layers of processes Strong attitude to team work, also leveraging resources not directly dependent on himher Good practical and analytical skills desirable Fluent written and spoken English, fluency in Italian andor German is appreciated Fluency in standard office automation tools MS Office, Email, Internet, etc.

Project Planning Engineer 1713090 Job Description We are looking for a Project Planning Engineer for our client, EUMETSAT. You will join the EPSSG Ground Segment Team and support in the planning and scheduling aspects. Your tasks will typically include but not necessarily be limited to the following Maintain a detailed development logic and schedule of the EPSSG Ground Segment Including all the subsystems and services, consistently with overall programme constraints, and in coordination with the relevant EUMETSAT teams, contractors and partners. Ensuring that the corresponding development logic and schedule remains at all times consistent with programme constraints. Performing a critical path analysis of each version of the schedule. Followup subsystems developments and participate in necessary meetings and reviews. Track progress against agreed development plans and Interaction Documents and signal any likely or identified deviations from these plans, together with the elaboration of proposals to reduce the impact of any delays. Identify interactions between subsystems and partnerscontractors and associate them with main development milestones and work breakdown structure.
