You are a Test ManagerProject Manager with the skills to successfully deliver the onsite IVV for the Data Processing subsegment to EUMETSAT EPSSG operation team. You have the right soft skills to manage and maintain project relationship with the client for a very challenging and complex project. Responsibilities Duties Manage the Contractual Commitment regarding onsite IVV as IVV onsite manager Coordination with Prime IVV Manager, Technical teams PMO Maintain Project relationship with EUMETSAT Report preparation of progress reports and conduct progress meetings Responsibility for the release of deliverables Ensure project objectives and deliverables are achieved on time and with acceptable quality Coordinate activities to ensure timely availability of resources and personnel Setup project organization planning, assign WPs to project team members, coordinate the activities of the onsite IVV team, delegate specific tasks to team members as required Establish program management infrastructure Project Repository enabling the efficient creation, storage, retrieval, and delivery of contract work products as well as internal management and technical information. Management of project cost and schedule including milestones, items provided by EUMETSAT, and deliverables documents, HWCIs, SWCIs Onsite IVV related risks management Project monitoring control, conduct internal reporting including indicators reflecting the work progress to PDAP IVV management and PDAP project management. Chair the internal Project Reviews Organization and conduction of formal reviews and deliveries onsite in coordination with PM and EUMETSAT Authorization of onsite specific procurements purchasing Prepare and conduct the handover to the customer, perform contract closure Establish detailed planning of on site IVV activities including documentation and review as well as followup activities Define and organize onsite Data Package deliveries and updates in the respective discipline as part of relevant interim reviews and reviews in accordance with contractual requirements Coordinate and track support activities to EUMETSAT Review from PM point of view the documentation and attend if necessary reviews concerning system or software datapackages, including the analysis of possible impacts on activities Qualifications Experience 8 years of experience in Project Test Management for complex projects Essential Skills Very good Management skills Good customer relationship, Solid knowledge of IVV and Maintenance activities for Ground Segment Observation Systems. Good IT knowledge Desirable Skills Exposure to Satellite Operations Exposure to bigdata technologies e.g. Kafka, RabbitMQ Further Details Requirements A compulsory training period is foreseen in Toulouse, France from start until end of October 2019, then working at EUMETSAT premises.

The Service Delivery Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive endtoend service provision for the Mission Operations Infrastructure IT MOIIT Business Area within the defined SLA, taking full responsibility of activities within his domain. MOIIT covers both infrastructural and mission critical computer systems as well as communication systems. The NOC Services at ESOC maintains and operates these infrastructures and more, covering everything from 247 first line monitoring and service desk to 2nd line teams and engineering activities. A successful candidate focuses on maintaining good relationships with the ESA Business Area Manager BAM and the users of the service and supports the Service Manager in delivering an excellent overall service to our customer. The high level of interaction with the customer and contract staff requires distinct customer service and service management experience. Support the Service Manager in driving the evolution of the service, identifying problems, workload issues or other deficiencies within the team. Create and maintain accurate procedures and work instructions. Work occasional shifts outside normal working hours, if required. Maintain and monitor internally auditing of the AssetConfiguration Management Database. Produce minutes of meetings and reports in a timely fashion. Attend user meetings, briefings, user groups and workshops as required. Ideal candidate The ideal candidate should have the following skillsexperience Excellent command of English, both written and spoken German or French would be a plus. DegreeHNC equivalent preferred. Indepth service management experience in a critical operational environment.
