Quality Assurance Manager Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is the European agency in charge of managing the European satellite navigation programs, Galileo and EGNOS. As part of the team, you will have the following responsibilities Preparing, implement and followup of internal audits Supporting inhouse training activities on quality management Maintaining the Quality Management System QMS documentation Reviewing other documents produced by GSA from a quality management perspective Supporting the development of procedures and work instructions Maintaining the processes related to Anomaly Reporting Recording and synthesising customer feedback and data on corrective and preventive actions Collating and analyse qualityrelated indicator reports Collecting other relevant data to allow for evaluation of the effectiveness of the QMS Assisting in the maintenance of Risk Management activities Assisting in the establishment of an Integrated Management System including Information Security and Safety Management Gap analysis and action plan proposals Implementation other actions required to maintain quality certification to the IS0 9001 standard Assisting GSMC management in the implementation of document management activities Supporting the preparation of document deliveries related to milestones Contributing to the management and version control of operational procedures Assisting tests and operational validation activities with a focus on Product Assurance Maintaining the QMrelated interface between French subcontractors and the GSMC Supporting the activities of Anomaly Review Boards ARB and Change Control Boards CCB Facilitating the implementation of risk management within the project team. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University Degree in a relevant discipline Several years of professional experience in Quality Assurance management Excellent knowledge of the ISO 9001 standard Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage. Product Quality Assurance Engineer Company details A leading space customer, located in Kruibeke, develops subsystems for spacecraft applications, including both scientific experiments for research in space as well as complete satellite systems. In order to support the rapid growth my customer is currently experiencing, they are looking to strengthen the team with a Product Assurance Engineer. Function At project startup, your initial focus will be the translation of the customers product assurance, quality and safety requirements into a specific, pragmatic approach for the project. Once a project is running, you will monitor the implementation of this approach during the different development phases design, manufacturing, integration, test and delivery. Your tasks will include attendance of design reviews, performance of safety and reliability analysis FMEA, nonconformance handling, hardware inspections, test witnessing As product quality assurance engineer of the project, you will also interface with the customer and provide him with regular reporting on the performed activities. In addition to the above responsibilities at project level, you could also be assigned to company level improvement projects within our EN9100 Quality Management System. Profile We expect candidates to have a master degree in engineering. The ideal candidate would be an enthusiastic resultoriented and fastlearning team player with good communication skills at all levels. Fluency in English and Dutch is preferable. A first experience in a related field would obviously be an asset, although specific coaching with regards to aerospace qualitysafetyreliability requirements is foreseen. They have 20 years of experience with software development, verification and validation for European space communication and transportation systems. As part of the team, you will have the following responsibilities Participation in internal and external audits QA planning Review and approval of project documentation Reporting and follow up Reviewing documents, hardware and code Processing of error reports Participation in review meetings Subcontractor quality assurance and education of our internal staff Working on process improvement in the areas of quality insurance, configuration management, export control and development methods.
