CFDP Integration, Validation and Testing Engineer 2023030 Job Description We are looking for a CFDP Integration, Validation and Testing Engineer, for our customer ESOC. You will join a team that supports the systemssoftware related to the HighData Rate Distributed CFDP activities for the upcoming Earth Observation Missions Ground Station CFDP Subsystem, CSTS Return CFDP PDU Service, Control Centre CFDP, CFDP File Reconstruction, Ground Segment Performance Testbed. Your main tasks will include, but not be limited to Definition of test environments, test data and test cases, including performance and integration testing Setup of corresponding test environments Test execution, documentation and reporting Performance analysis software, hardware, network and support to performance optimisation Support to system design activities Support to infrastructure, development and customer teams to troubleshoot problems Support the operational validation with the customers during deployment Support technical and coordination meetings at ESOC. The Data Processing Verification and Validation Team Leader leads technical support to the verification and validation of the Data Processing systems, applications and services, across their lifecycle, including procurements of industrial support. What youll be doing Manage the VV team of the Data Processing Systems and Applications Competence Area Support the definition, planning, scheduling and execution of VV activities for data processing systems of different satellite systems under development by EUMETSAT, in close coordination with the system development teams Define, plan, schedule and lead the execution of VV activities for planned evolutions of operational data processing systems Leadcoordinate the implementation of VV activities and the execution of tests, including preparation, coordination and chairing of Test Readiness Reviews TRRs and Test Review Board meetings TRBs Lead the maintenance and evolution of test environments and tools supporting VV of data processing system, including automated verification environments, procurement of new tools and procurement and management of industrial support services Identify and manage risks related to data processing VV activities Support the Data Processing Systems and Applications Competence Area Manager in the preparation of annual budgets, assessment of VV skills and resources and the definition of long term plans and roadmaps.
