Position Reference 611 We are currently looking for a Payable Accountant Assistant to work in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Analysing, validating and approving all Agency payments to suppliers in compliance with ESA accounting policy, the Financial Regulations, instructions and procedures internal rules carrying out related financial operations and interfaces with suppliers Endofperiod adjustments, offsetting of prepayments against progress invoices and vendor clearing, analysis of balances, clearing of accrued costs versus invoices received and other accounting practices related to accounts payable Responding to queries from industry Preparing urgent payment lists Other adhoc financial accounting tasks as requested by management Specific Competence Requirements A Bachelors Degree or equivalent professional qualifications in a financial discipline and a significant period of practical experience of financial accounting at ESA or in a comparable environment. Very good knowledge of SAP and esap with regard to Procuretopay process and related procedures. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University Degree Bachelor from a recognised Institute of secondary studies or equivalent. Experience as a user of SAP and in particular ECC and SRM modules. Familiarity with modern office automation tools and techniques, in particular Microsoft Office or equivalent, as well as customised database and software applications. Proficient in the English language, both written and spoken, knowledge of another official ESA language is an asset. Capacity to identify priority actions and to handle high workload. Reliability, commitment and initiative together with a wellbalanced autonomy in the execution of the required tasks. Corporate Assistant Resource Controller

Aurora has the opportunity to expand our support to ESA in the domain of Business Management, Controlling Administration. Overview The Corporate Assistant Resource Controller will support the Business Unit Control BUC Office. Tasks and Activities include Supporting the BUC Office in the implementation of the overall workforce resource planning including drafting the Service Level Agreements with the internal clients and obtaining their signatures. Collecting, consolidating and implementing internal EXCEL databaseand dedicated SAP module Timesheet Accounting System TAS the required adjustments of the Service Level Agreements, necessary for the manpower rate calculation of the Business Unit concerned. Supporting the administrative implementation and monitoring of the manpower capacity in TAS for the domains under their direct responsibility. To act as Local Configurator of Timesheet system. Liaising with the ESTEC Frame contract procurement team for the issuing of Requests for Tender and subsequent implementation in THREAD for contractor workforce management. Supporting the Business Unit Control BUC Office during the financial interim and yearend closure and for any other processes as required. Implementing all administrative actions related to procurement and contractual matters, including data entry in ESA Corporate esap and local application as appropriate and monitoring of financial commitments and payment milestones, invoicing, etc. Supporting the implementation and monitoring of the designated BU EsaNow IT Policy. Acting as Assistant Cost Centre Controller occasionally for some designated BU of a Department as required. Other adhoc tasks as requested by management. Specific qualification requirements University degree Bachelor from a recognised Institution or equivalent qualification in Business Administration with an understanding of finance processes, with at least 2 years relevant experience. Detailed knowledge of the ESAs Working and Procurement procedures at ESTEC is highly desirable. Ability to liaise directly and independently with the Contracts and Purchase Office to follow up all relevant activities related to Shopping Carts, RFX, TEB nominations etc. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office tools is a necessity as well as financial and related systems esap, Timesheet Management System. In depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a requirement. A high level of accuracy, attention to detail and follow up. Autonomy in the execution of tasks and ability to manage workload and identifying priorities ability to cope with pressure, meet deadlines and deliver on time. Fluent in English, knowledge of another Member State language is an asset. Legal and Security Requirements All applicants must be legally allowed to work in The Netherlands Applicants are required to provide a copy of their passport and degree certificate. Aurora will validate the Degree with the issuing University and provide evidence to ESA. Prior to issuing a letter of employment the applicant shall provide to Aurora a recent official document declaring that they are of good conduct from the country where currently resident. Location The work will be performed at the European Space Technology and Research Centre ESTEC at Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Contract The selected candidate will receive good remuneration in line with ESA Job Class. Will be registered for both social security and tax in the Netherlands. The standard working hours are 40 per week. There are 12 public holidays and an additional 30 annual days holiday.
