The Fleet Operations UK Satellite Operations Center UKSOC Spacecraft Engineer position is a shift position, reporting to the onshift Mission Director, and works closely with the Spacecraft Operators to respond to satellite anomalies and payload system outages to maintain quality of service of a large constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites. The chief responsibility of the spacecraft engineer is to maintain satellite payload service performance, health and satellite safety. The spacecraft engineer is the focal point for anomaly detection and resolution but also analyzes and trends OneWeb satellite data and directs satellite configuration changes to maintain performance within defined parameters. The spacecraft engineer is the liaison between the satellite control and subsystem and system engineers to resolve satellite issues. The engineer drafts mission planning requests and manual contingency command plans when required. Responsibilities Perform onconsole satellite engineering support in a shift environment Perform satellite telemetry trending and analysis Respond to satellite anomalies and service outages and facilitates recoveries Build, validate and deliver satellite configurable item changes to maintain satellite performance requirements Draft mission planning requests to perform required satellite commanding Required Skills and Experience The ideal candidate will have experience in Satellite subsystems including satellite payload RF communication systems Engineering analysis tools Orbital Mechanics of LEO satellites Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership of all aspects of job and take initiative Excellent oral and written skills and communication briefing skills is essential. A minimum of 3 years of aerospace industry or equivalent experience required and 5 years preferred Demonstrated ability to work to tight deadlines in highly dynamic environment Multisatellite LEO constellation operations experience is preferred. Must have the right to work in the EEA European Economic Area

The Fleet Operations UK Satellite Operations Center UKSOC Spacecraft Controller position is a shift position, reporting to the onshift Mission Director, and performs all activities and tasks necessary to control the fleet of OneWeb satellites. Control of the fleet is highly automated and therefore the controller is an expert in operation of the command and control applications software, the satellite subsystems, the mission management software, and interfaces to other elements of the system. The controller facilitates execution of the schedule, manages automation, but predominantly performs manual and contingency commanding as required. Controllers also participate in procedure development, test and validation, automation rule set development, test and deployment. Responsibilities Execute all planned tasks for satellite operations Configure, operate, troubleshoot and resolve issues in the command and control operations applications software. Integrate and configure the satellite and ground systems databases into the command and control system Convert satellite manufacturer delivered nominal and contingency operations procedures into automated procedures executed from command and control systems. Configure, test and verify the new procedures in the command and control system Perform onconsole satellite operations in a shift environment Required Skills and Experience The ideal candidate will have experience in Realtime flight operations console expertise Satellite command and control operations software and products General satellite subsystem operation and maintenance LEO satellite operations including launch, inorbit test, orbital maneuvers, commissioning, and deorbit Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership of all aspects of job and take initiative Excellent oral and written skills and communication briefing skills is essential. Demonstrated ability to work to tight deadlines in highly dynamic environment Direct experience in command and control system configuration and operation is preferred. Multisatellite LEO constellation operations experience is preferred. Must have the right to work in the EEA European Economic Area
