It includes the following typical duties Regular review of the status of documents in the different archives and where appropriate register this information in the DMS database. Document registration, distribution and archiving, as well as provision of reproduction services. Process configuration controlled document changes and of official papers relevant to the activities of the unit. Supporting users for retrieving documents from local DMS, DMSs from external partners andor industry, out of paper archives, other sources like ESTEC library, scanned documents on CDROM or via Internet, etc. Provision of paper copies of electronic documents on request, creation of electronic versions of documents. Management of original files. Related support to project reviews. Support to enhancements of the document management concepts and of future improvements. The above tasks must be implemented in line with applicable configuration management processes and standards and in close collaboration with relevant CM authority. The following specific tasks are relevant to the support to be provided in this position within DSRE Initial assignment will be to support the EUCLID Project in managing its backlog of document processing and ensuring continuous management of the Projects documents in the ECLIPSE Platform Resolve the backlog of document deliveries currently stored on the Secure FTP server Maintain the project profile in the ECLIPSE platform, managing user access and folder definitions etc. Define and implement the document management procedures within the project and its external partners Handle document deliveries from external partners Support project reviews with the management and distribution of documentation review data packages Act as focal point for documentation related ECLIPSE queries and related matters within the project Specific Competence Requirements University degree Bachelor from a recognised Institution of secondary studies or equivalent qualification in Business Administration or Communications as relevant, with typically 4 years of relevant experience At least 2 years of prevoius relevant working experience in the field

Mandatory skills A technical university degree in Physics or a related subject for example space and satellite engineering Demonstrable familiarity with satellite instruments characteristics for earth observation in the visiblenearinfrared range of the spectrum and with their 01b calibration, as well as with relating physics processes in such satellite instruments to the relevant 01b data processing algorithms required to provide geophysically calibrated level1b data. Solid background in software engineering. Capable of working both individually and independently on assigned responsibilities, as well as in the LIMTG team where necessary. Ability to write concise and comprehensive scientific and technical reports. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Able to work effectively and have good writing skills in English EU national or valid work permit for Germany CV in Europass editable format Advantage Experience with scientific instrument data simulation, 01b data processing software development and prototypingtesting such software, for satellite instruments for earth observation. Experience in software development in a Linux andor Unix environment in CC. Experience with the latest software development tools and methods. Experience with specification, design and coding of 01b data processing systems for earthobserving satellite instrumentation.
