Galileo Ground Segment Operations Engineer

We are currently looking for a Galileo Ground Segment Operations Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the Ground Operations Team, you will be responsible for the overall management of Galileo GCS GCCD and GCCI sites and have the following responsibilities Preparesupportexecute system, segment and element operation validation activities, including the definition of validation scenarios, plans or test cases and the procedure development and validation, testing, result reporting Developreviewupdate Operations Plans and Operations Concept documents Ensuresupport databases preparation, coordination, synchronization and verification Preparation of SCTC and simulation Assist with the planning and coordination of GCS maintenance activities across both sites and GMS backup activities at GCCD Provide planning inputs and execution feedback for Ground Operations activities Monitor performance of grounds services and trigger corrective actions Handle incidents and anomalies writing, processing, and support of review boards. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Experience in ground system operations engineering and execution, ILS or Maintenance Knowledge of navigation ground segment such as Egnos or Galileo Comfortable using Linux Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage. ORION Propulsion Engineer Analysis OPS concepts Key Tasks and Responsibilities Orion is NASAs next spacecraft to send humans further into space than ever before, beyond the Moon and even to Mars. The ESM provides electricity, water, oxygen and nitrogen as well as navigation and temperature control. Moreover, the Orion ESM contains one of the most complex propulsion subsystems ever built in Europe. As ORION Propulsion Engineer Analysis OPS concepts, you will have the following responsibilities Analyze hydraulic characteristics of propulsion SS Perform water hammer and priming shock analysis of propulsion SS to define max. design pressure definition Elaborate ops concept e.g. priming on the basis of analysis Provide technical documentation of the performed analysis as contribution to propulsion SS milestones Support propulsion SS reviews by analysis and concept definitions on propulsion SS level. Tasks and Responsibilities Contribute to the establishing of the programmatic and technical software PA requirements within the framework of the ESA Software policy. Evaluate Contractors plans, technical specifications and efforts proposed for the execution of the SW PA programme. Monitor and evaluate SW PA analyses, reports and technical notes. EEE Parts Support Engineer

Purpose Support for EEE Parts Selection, associated PA and related activities. Key Tasks Maintain a coherent approach to EEE parts selection in line with company guidelines and project requirements. Liaise with product design engineers, production procurement entities on parts selection and part related issues such as derating, radiation tolerance and reliability and assembly. Collation of informationdata and maintenance of the EEE parts database in cooperation with ECAD and other teams Provide technical support to Peer Reviews and MRBs as required. Help develop and maintain internal information sharing on EEE parts including EEE parts alerts Coordinate EEE activities between equipment suppliers, prime contractor external, review authorities and procurement agents. For projects working i.a.w. ESCC requirements review internal subcontractor DCLs and PADs for compliance to project technical and PA requirements. Participate in Parts Control Boards as required Support project teams in EEE related activities including review and generation of project related documents such as procurement, BoM, specifications, DPAs, Reports or Goodsin data review Knowledge, Skills and Experience Strong background in Electronic Engineering, including knowledge of EEE parts, part classes, technologies and design application. Previous experience in parts engineering in Space andor HiReliability domain using qualified parts. Working knowledge of ESA MIL systems Knowledge of commercial EEE parts and qualities Good appreciation or experience of circuit design, part application and product assembly would be beneficial Appreciation of the effects of ionising radiation on parts.
