Cloud Sherpas is continuing its string of acquisitions of boutique consulting firms for cloud services, with the purchase of Innoveer Solutions and Navigis. Terms of the deals, which were announced Tuesday, were not disclosed. Innoveer is focused on CRM (customer relationship management) software, with a particular emphasis on Salesforce.com. It has more than 750 customers and 2,000 successful implementations, according to Cloud Sherpas. The company also has European operations, giving Cloud Sherpas a physical presence in that region for the first time, Cloud Sherpas said.

The phase CD has started since the completion of the ground segment Preliminary Design Review May 2012 and is completing at the Qualification Review presently planned mid2018. The duties range from specification, analysis, design, build, deployment and subsequent verification. The activities for this consultancy relate to the ground segment, consisting of the data acquisition systems, monitoring and control systems, data processing and archiving facilities product dissemination facilities and the encompassing network elements. The MTG Ground Segment System Engineer will perform typical system engineering activities such as Requirements engineering, which consists in requirement analysis and validation, requirement allocation, and requirement maintenance System analysis, which is performed for the purpose of resolving requirements conflicts, decomposing and allocating requirements, assessing system effectiveness Performance of trade studies for assessing effectiveness, risk, cost and planning Design, build and configuration which results in a physical architecture, described by its complete functional, physical and software characteristics Integration and verification, which final objective is to demonstrate that the deliverables conform to the specified requirements.
