IT Infrastructure and Network Engineering Consultancy Support 1313013 Job Description The Candidate will perform system administration and maintenance for the corporate ICT environment. The foreseen detailed tasks, in order of relevance and to be shared with another team member, include as a minimum Operate and Maintain the Technical rooms keep log book of activities liaise with 3rd parties e.g. AC, power monitor power consumption Plan and coordinate the removal and installation of racks and IT equipment and monitor physical access Maintain network cable infrastructure fibre and copper plan and coordinate the installation of new cables troubleshoot connectivity issue due to faulty wiring Provide physical network connectivity to IT equipment servers, desktops, printers etc activate and configure VLAN network sockets patch devices Operate and Maintain the KVM system add and removal of servers to the system access control to the system logs keeper Monitor the Internet access service liaise with 3rd parties and ISP for support monitor the traffic Operate and Maintain the active components of the network infrastructure Check logs regularly configure VLANs add and remove network stacks monitor the network traffic control the access to the system Operate and Maintain Wireless LAN Infrastructure hot spots and portal software check regularly the log add and remove hot spots liaise with 3rd parties for support keep the system under configuration control monitor the network traffic Liaise with external parties for the operation and maintenance of the Security System Firewalls, VPN and RSA Infrastructure Provide user 2nd and 3rd level support for service requests and incidents linked to the Infrastructure and Network system cables, active components and to the Internet access service Contribute to the procurement of information technology services, systems and components by providing specifications and performing price inquiries, as well as act as interface with hardware and software suppliers regarding procurement, warranty and maintenance issues. Required Skill and Experience University degree in Information Technology or comparable discipline or equivalent professional experience 3 years of experience as IT Infrastructure and Network Engineer in a demanding and heterogeneous computing environment. Good communication skills and a customeroriented approach with some experience coordinating IT related projects. The Consultant must be able to work effectively in English and have knowledge of French. The working language for the position is English and therefore the consultant must be able to work effectively in this language and have knowledge of the other. Experience in operation and maintenance of Technical rooms. Knowledge of power distribution systems and cooling systems. Hand on experience in operating a Network cabling infrastructure configuration control, patching, media type etc. Working knowledge of and experience in the installation, operation and maintenance of KVM systems. Working knowledge of and experience in power distribution and UPS solutions. Knowledge of and experience in operation and maintenance of a network infrastructure based on Cisco components. Hands on experience in the operation and maintenance of Wireless LAN Infrastructure Hands on experience in the operation of network monitoring tools Desirable Skills and Experience Hands on experience in using Cisco Works to operate and monitor the network system. Experience in a structured, ISO 9000 certified project and service environment. Knowledge of ITIL and hands on experience in change and configuration management. SCOPE OF THE CONSULTANCY CONTRACT The activity requires fulltime participation of one Consultant for the duration of the contract, the Key person defined in Article 12 of the Contract shall work together with the two members of PRS who are responsible for the provision of the Process Assurance support to the OPS and TSS Departments, one of whom is responsible, in addition, for overseeing APT related activities. The Key Person is to assist these two PRS members in their activities, performing the tasks assigned by them. The Process Assurance support role will consist of the following main tasks Assisting in the definition of processes and providing guidance in process definition and implementation to members of OPS and TSS Supporting assessments of OPS and TSS processes and recommending improvements Monitoring OPS and TSS anomaly management processes, supporting the organisation of Anomaly Review Boards ARBs and providing statistics on Supporting OPS and TSS risk management processes and associated reviews The main tasks for the APT Support role Providing frontline user support, helping users with problems and questions Registering new users for APT and providing them with instruction in using the tool Coordinating the resolution of any problems that might be reported Contributing to the formulation of user requirements for enhancements Performing acceptance testing of new versions of the tool. Further tasks will be assigned as needs arise, taking into account the profile requirements provided in this SoW. All activities are to be performed in line with clients procedures, standards, and working practices. PROFILE As a minimum, the Key Person shall have a university degree or equivalent, with the knowledge, experience and skills specified in the following sections. The following attributes are essential for this consultancy position Good knowledge of the ISO 9001 standard Experience of working in an environment where an ISO 9001certified management system is used. Knowledge of the management, engineering and quality assurance activities performed for a project, as typically defined in a formal project management methodology. Experience of documenting work activities in the form of process definitions, procedures and working practices, plus good userviewpoint writing skills. Experience of QA auditing process assessment Experience of working with a formal anomalymanagement process, using a multiuser computerbased tool for the recording and disposition of anomalies. Experience of providing frontline support to users, defining userrequirements for software tools and conducting useracceptance testing. Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. One or more of the following will be considered an advantage Knowledge of the ECSS standards Knowledge of ISO 31000 Risk Management Principles and Guidelines Possession of an auditing qualification Experience of working in an operations andor systemprocurement environment The Key Person shall have good verbal and writing communication skills, this being important for being able to effectively interact with any personnel, in the context of both QA and APT Support activities. The working language for the position is English and therefore the Key Person must be able to work effectively in this language and have knowledge of the other. WORKING HOURS and REPORTING The tasks shall be performed during normal office hours. Tasks will be assigned in individual Work Packages covering one or more months. Formal reporting is required at monthly intervals in a format specified by Client. The monthly reports, together with any other reports or documentation produced, shall be submitted to the Technical Officer for his approval.

Operational Systems Security Officer Consultancy Support 1313014 Job Description The Candidate shall support the security aspects of all Operational Systems within the System Operations Team. The Operations Department is currently implementing an information security management system ISMS framework to cover its operational activities and processes. The security policy and associated documents are being restructured and extended to conform to the breakdown provided in the ISO 27001 standard. The main focus of the tasks to be performed is primarily on the implementation of an ISMS framework and secondly on the associated technical processes.
