An exciting opportunity to work as a Spacecraft Operations Controller in a prestigious Geostationary spacecraft mission at our customer site based near Munich, Germany. The earliest start date for this position will be 1st of August 2016 and the submission deadline for interested candidates is 10th of June 2016. RESPONSIBILITIESDUTIES Certification as a spacecraft Controller Supervision of system performance and of automatic service provision to customers Maintenance of actual mission planning data and the mission schedule Monitoring of the health status of all satellites components Monitoring the use of the satellite payload Levell response to anomalies, based on procedures Data collection after anomalies Activation of engineering support if required User Help Desk first Response QUALIFICATIONSEXPERIENCE Bachelors Degree in Aerospace Engineering or any other technical field. Not necessary in case of considerable work experience in spacecraft operations. Some experience in satellite andor ground segment operations Knowledge of Linux and MS Office Fluency in English ESSENTIAL SKILLS Collaborative and team worker Ambitious Selfstarter and fast learner Good communication skills Solution oriented Security Clearance 1 Confidential will be required.
