Mission Control System Integration and Verification Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European organisation providing weather and climaterelated satellite data, images and products for its users. You will have the following responsibilities Integration of the various components of a Monitoring Control System Generation and updates of test plan and test procedures Execution and coordination of software verification and nonregression testing Generation of test data and test tools that facilitate the software verification and nonregression testing Maintaining the verification status of the software requirement baseline Preventive and corrective software maintenance Generation and updates of technical documents and preparation of reports Analysis activities focused on a common software engineering methodology and development of supporting tools. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline Several years experience in integration and verification testing activities for Satellite Monitoring Control Systems Extensive experience in the investigation of software anomalies and verification testing of fixes Experience using tools for the automation of software testing Experience in developing and maintaining software applications using Java and C under UNIX operating systems Knowledge and understanding of space related standards ECSS and CCSDS Working knowledge of IBM DOORS requirement management tool. CVS and SVN version control systems Linux operating system, MySQL RDBMS, XML processing and Eclipse Rich Client Platform applications development. Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage. This job is located in Darmstadt.
