Sales and Account Manager EU NATO Eurocontrol Task and Responsibilities To detect, develop and offer solutions from Sercos portfolio based on clients requirements. This will involve working closely with members of the presales team including solution design architects, bid managers, Commercial officers etc. Position Serco at client side and clearly articulate the advantages of choosing Serco as an IT services partner To support the bid teams during the whole bid phase in order to ensure that the clients requirements are met To recognize where standard solutions, SLAs, service arrangements or contracts need to be modified in order to win the business Support the business to protect existing revenues margins and handle business growth To propose revenue positive and profitable solutions to meet Client needs Understand key competitors strategies and address them as appropriate To build a partnership strategy to support the growth of the business To organize small scale focused workshops with the objective of positioning the Serco portfolio with the main decision makers from the client base, involving line management and other key colleagues where applicable To ensure a high standard of conduct, leadership and service as a Sales Professional in such a way as to result in client satisfaction with Serco. Experience Required You should bring the following essential skills and experience The individual will have a good knowledge of the NATO and Eurocontrol Accounts and will be able to use this knowledge to identify and quickly qualify opportunities within the account portfolio heshe is responsible for An ability to develop lasting key level relationships and to understand issues and relate the Serco value proposition to these issues, will enable the individual to develop high value opportunities The appointee will have the ability to clearly position the resources heshe will require to support hisher sales opportunities and will have excellent teamworking skills The appointee will be comfortable in leading negotiations at senior management level and will have the skills to close profitable business for the company in the shortest feasible timescale It will be important for the appointee to support the business through providing information such as information necessary to build an account development plan. The successful candidate will join the TLS Damper Equipment team. As Head of Engineering within the Mechanical and Structural Engineering department, you will be in charge of performance financial and programme as well as development, from the design up to the production of mechanical structures. You will ensure relations with the project, and will supervise the design and industrial monitoring team. You will work with the following technologies SiC structures, CFRP and GFRP composite structures and metal structures. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Technically summarising the mechanics of the developed hardware Defining the work plan for the detailed definition and acceptance activities designanalysistesting Leading the design and industrial monitoring team from 3 to 5 people per product Managing the costs and lead time for the department services Performing industrial monitoring of the developed mechanical hardware Interfacing with the project group and ensuring the reporting Participating in responses to calls for tender and ensuring the interface with the agencies for the development of new technologies. This role will require travel in Europe during the industrial monitoring phases several days approximately 4 times per year. As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate some of the following skills and experience Qualified engineer or university equivalent 5year degree in the field of mechanical engineering At least 5 years of experience in mechanical analysis andor in a mechanical engineering Design Office Proficiency in mechanical constraints connected with the space environment or equivalent and sizing rules for structures, especially SiC structures Strong technical skills in the mechanical and thermal engineering profession, ideally in the field of ceramics Proficiency in design aid tools risk analysis, value engineering, functional analysis, engineering and development plan definition Proficiency in the technological processes for the materials used in products developed by the Design Office and industrial design rules Experience in production, AIT or production monitoring is desirable Ideally, initial experience in managingcoordinating technical teams Synthesis and decisionmaking skills Ability to integrate within a team and adapt Meticulous nature, the ability to take initiative, and a responsive and autonomous approach Good interpersonal and communication skills writtenoral Negotiation level of English, proficiency in French would be an asset.
