For the location in Darmstadt Germany we are looking for Flight Dynamics Operations Preparation Support working on the EPS Second Generation Programme at EUMETSAT. Tasks Within the EUMETSAT Operations and Services to Users Department, the Flight Operations Division FLO is in charge of conducting space system flight operations, flight dynamics, mission analysis and mission control safely to maximize the mission return. Within FLO, the Flight Dynamics Team is currently responsible for the Flight Dynamics operations of five geostationary satellites MTP, MSG1, 2, 3, 4 and three Low Earth Orbiting satellites MetopA, MetopB as well as Sentinel3A as of July 2016. The Flight Dynamics Team also supports the operations preparation of the 3rd EPS satellite MetopC, planned to be launched in 2018, and of the second Sentinel3 satellite S3B planned to be launched in late 2017 moreover Flight Dynamics and Mission Analysis support is provided for the MTG, EPSSG and JasonCS satellites, which are currently under development. The EPS followon system EPSSG will provide continuity of observations and respond to the needs of the users in the 20202040 timeframe. EPSSG consists of two, parallel series of satellites MetopSG A and MetopSG B, with a plan for a series of three satellites of each type six in total and a constellation deployment allowing parallel operations of multiple satellites. The key person shall work in the Operations and Services to Users Department supporting the Flight Dynamics Team in the FLO Division, while providing the main support to the EPSSG Programme and in particular to the operations preparation for Flight Dynamics operations.
