We are currently looking for a Thermal Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Thermal Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of a team of experts in the competence center of a European leading company in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space transportation and satellites you will be responsible for several of the following activities Execute theoretical investigations, computations and estimations in connection with thermal aspects of spacecraft and space transport systems Establish mathematical models for thermal and fluid dynamic analysis of upper stages and apply these models System engineering for dedicated development activities Definition of support to tests of spacecraft items establishment of test plans and procedures analytical test evaluation Execution of special tasks in the context of the analytic design of spacecraft items Development or contribution of system and subsystem specifications Preparation and maintenance of interface documentation Contribution to proposals forwith business lines establishment of planning and cost estimations Autonomous execution of work orders including comprehensive technical reporting and presentation of results to customers. This involves Acquisition of technical information Review of technical documents and deduction of necessary activitiesanalyses, e.g. from requests for proposals and technical specifications Contribution to establishment of department planning autonomous tracking of schedules and costs Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or equivalent Professional experience in thermal or fluidic analysis and system engineering Good knowledge of ESATAN Ability to work in teams, flexibility and ability to work autonomously Fluency in English is mandatory, basic language skills in French and German advantageous This job is located in Bremen.
