Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have a university degree or equivalent in the relevant discipline. You have more than 8 years relevant experience with L1L2 processing software for Earth Observation missions, either for operationsmaintenance or specification and development for the junior engineer, just remove the number 8 and replace with some. For our customer in Darmstadt we are looking for a Data Processing System Engineer to support current and future Earth observation missions. Our customer EUMETSAT is an independent intergovernmental organisation founded in 1986 to establish maintain and exploit European systems of operational meteorological satellites and to contribute to the operational monitoring of the climate and the detection of global climate changes. A further objective of EUMETSAT is to provide data, products and support services to the European Copernicus information services and user communities, with a focus on marine, atmosphere and climate. EUMETSAT is governed by a Council representing 30 Member States and 1 Cooperating State. The EUMETSAT Technical and Scientific Support Department TSS provides support to operations of existing satellite systems and to the development of new programmes.
