For our customer in Darmstadt we are looking for a System Engineer in Data Processing to support current and future Earth observation missions, in particular the Sentinel6 JasonCS Mission Our customer EUMETSAT is an independent intergovernmental organisation founded in 1986 to establish maintain and exploit European systems of operational meteorological satellites and to contribute to the operational monitoring of the climate and the detection of global climate changes. A further objective of EUMETSAT is to provide data, products and support services to the European Copernicus information services and user communities, with a focus on marine, atmosphere and climate. The candidate shall provide engineering services to the Jason CS Ground Segment Data processing team as well as to the Operations department in the frame of maintenance and evolution of the current operational data processing systems.
