Ground Segment System and Network Engineer mf

Responsibilities Duties As a member of the Ground Segment GS team, the Engineer shall provide support to the EPSSG GS requirements analysis, architecture design and requirement implementation of the GS ground stations as part of the EPSSG System. The duties range from the analysis, design, installation, and testing of the ground stations. This may include support to the procurement of hardware and software, and the coordination with external service providers. The tasks will nominally cover the entire development lifecycle. This teams responsibilities start with the collection and analysis of requirements for new multitier applications, website and intranet in collaboration with internal and external customers and users. The responsibilities continue with the specification and design of the solution, the selection of the software platform and related technologies, the implementation and test of the services and applications, and finally the maintenance of the system and application together with the other existing services.
