Main responsibilities Define reference processes and procedures in DSCI according to ECSS standards and QMS requirements Provide adhoc support to DSCI projects in the definition and setup of their Configuration and Document Management CADM Plan and processes Interface with project controllers, project scientists for their specific configuration requirements needs o Ensure consistent flowdown of ESA and DSCI requirements and procedures to the Projects and activities within the Directorate o Create templates to support standardisation across DSCI Create procedures and work instructions related to Configuration Management and Document Management within the Science Directorate Organise and deliver trainings and awareness session on Document Management best practises across the Directorate Maintain a reference Document Management Sharepoint library to centralise related information Interfacing Industries and Institutions working with DSCI projectsactivities to ensure the alignment of processes, procedures and interfaces Coordinating with the ESA Record Manager for proper handling of the vital records, defining a clear management and handover procedure from SCI to ESA Record Manager Support the implementation of an archive system and policy in alignment with ESAwide requirements and with Projects needs Support the maintenance of the DSCI Records Schedule and of its regular audits Document best practises with the commonly used DMS in DSCI e.g. ECLIPSE, Content Manager and design standard approach to be implemented in new projects Provide consultancy to DSCI users on the possible Document Management tools and advice on the most suitable solutions for their specific needs Ideal candidate Master degree from a recognised institute of secondary studies or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Business Administration or relevant discipline A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in similar tasks to the abovementioned Good communication skills Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team within the boundaries of assigned tasks Initiative and motivation to perform to high standards in a demanding environment Excellent command of the English language, both oral and written Important Any offer of employment is contingent upon you providing documents to verify your identity and employment eligibility, as required by law. Configuration and Documentation Management Officer

We are looking for a Configuration and Documentation Management Officer M3 to join our Ajilon Technology Aerospace team, working onsite at the European Space Agency. Location Noordwijk, The Netherlands Type of work Fulltime, ongoing Ajilon Technology Aerospace is a specialized Engineering consultancy with more than 30 years experience providing aerospace Engineers to our key partners in The Netherlands. Ajilon is a longstanding business partner of the European Space Agency ESA, with more than 110 employees recruited from across Europe currently supporting ESAs activities. Specific tasks to be performed EOPPN would like to recruit an experienced Configuration and Documentation Management Officer to support the Earth Observation Project Department and specifically the Earth Explorers Programme within the Earth Observation Directorate. Heshe will work across the Earth Explorer projects and also be delegated to work on specific Projects. Initially the split will be 50 EarthCARE, 20 Altius and the rest on Flex and Aelous.
