Working closely together with the SES Spacecraft Field Offices, Space Operations and Ground Infrastructures groups, the position involves supervising the development of multiple satellite telecommunication payloads and of local ground station antennas. The candidate will need to ensure SES Satellite Leasings SL best interests are protected, reviewing as appropriate milestones and timelines to ensure that contractual and programmatic targets are met. Attendance at key milestone meetings events throughout the development and manufacturing of the satellite payloads will also be required design reviews, test readiness reviews, management meetings, testing, etc.. The role will require a high level of interface with other SES departments who support these various activities.
