Your Tasks Include The Products Formats and Test Data Test Tools engineer shall support the Sentinel3 Operations with respect to our Clients Marine Payload Data Ground Segment PDGS in particular anomaly correction and software release process maintenance and necessary evolutions, including the necessary coordination with the data processing systems engineering and the multimission element engineers for the related interfaces with the rest of the Sentinel3 ground segment. Your Profile The consultant should have the following background 5 years experience in testing and maintaining product formats and formatters, test data and tests tools for large scale software systems missioninstrument data processing related. Experience in engineering evolutions of such software, test data and tools is also required. Knowledge and experience is required of software development lifecycles, system testing for Earth observation systems and use of test data and tools for supporting this, Knowledge and experience is required of formats and associated formatters used in Earth observation e.g. netCDF for marine applications and also used in other communities including HDF, BUFR and GRIB. Your Tasks Include The Ground Segment System Engineer GSE shall support the Sentinel3 Operations with respect to our Clients S3 Ground Segment maintenance and necessary evolutions, including the necessary coordination with the other S3 Ground Segments centres and Core Ground Stations at architectural and system engineering level and also for the related functions and interfaces with the Clients MultiMission Elements MMEs. It is requested that the candidates have experience in supporting the operations and maintenance of operational Ground Segments or main components of them, as well as in the engineering evolutions of such components, with its test data and test tools, preferably in the area of 24h7d operational remote sensing satellites.
