Operations Quality Assurance Engineer 1613032 Job Description We are looking for an Operations Quality Assurance Engineer to support our client EUMETSAT. You will be a member of the PRS team which provides process assurance and QA support to the Operations and Services to Users department OPS. The latter has responsibility for running EUMETSATs operational satellite systems and ensuring the delivery of the organisations data services to its user community. In order to increase synergy within LAUSQ, and at the request of the Head of Office, the postholder will be requested to support activities on the other Launcher programmes e.g. participation in reviews, MRBs, investigations, etc. and to support the DLAU QMS officer. QUALIFICATIONS Applicants for this post should have a Masters degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, with a background in space systems. Several years of experience in the management of Product Assurance and Safety are required as well as knowledge of the launchers domain and proven experience in interfacing with partners e.g. industrial primes in an international environment. Candidates should have good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a diverse and international team environment and to achieve solutions in line with team objectives. In addition, applicants should have good leadership, organisational and communication skills, as well as a proactive attitude towards solving problems.
