The Challenge We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to be located at one of our customer sites in Darmstadt, Germany. Tasksresponsibilities will include Provision of the respective secretariat support including Leave planning Mission preparations Document management. Coordination meeting and maintenance of Lotus Notes Calendar Preparation and processing of correspondence and documents Manpower bookings using time sheet system Organisation of workshops and conferences Small procurements in SAP. This is a fulltime position with a planned starting date in November 2013. Your Qualifications Applicants must have a secondary education and professional training in administrative techniques. Essential skills are Highly proficient in MS Office, Lotus Notes and PC based databases Good user knowledge of SAP and the ESA financial and procurement processes Systematic and structured approach Good communication and organizational skills Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships Fluency in English or and French, both in speech and writing is required. Desirable skills are Working level knowledge speaking and writing of French and or German or another member state language is an asset The candidate should be selfmotivated and able to work independently in an international environment. Description Under this work package the contractor shall support the Earth Observation Directorate, primarily assigned to the GMES projects.
