For our activities in Germany, we are looking for a person to provide MTG Monitoring Control Subsystem Engineering Consultancy Support. TASKS Support to the maintenance of MTG Mission Operations Facility requirement specification in the area of Monitoring Control System and liaison with the operational users for the definition of the requirements baseline. Follow up the MTG Monitoring and Control Subsystem MCS procurement to make sure that the delivery fits the intended purpose. Support the MTG ground segment team, the Mission Operations Facility manager and the ground segment manager. Interact with suppliers and partner organisations. Participation to the Reviews for the Monitoring and Control Subsystem and interfacing facilities. Participation test conduction and or witnessing to MTG Monitoring and Control Subsystem facilities testing and related activities on facility as well as on system level. Analysis of test results and test reports on facility as well as on system level in particular with respect to their suitability for requirement verification and validation. Track the MTG Monitoring and Control Subsystem test results, test reports and requirement verification status. Installation of the MTG Monitoring and Control Subsystem at EUMETSAT, while fulfilling the configuration management requirements. Verification of correct facility installation. Monitor and, where applicable, steer the lifecycle for all related anomaly reports ARs nonconformance reports NCRs. Preparation and production of routine reports as necessary. Preparation of technical notes and attendance at technical meetings. Analysis, review and generation of any relevant MTG documentation. Maintenance i.e. mainly configuration and installation of the SCOS 2000 MCS demonstrator installed for familiarisation of the operations preparation team with the Mission Operations Facility MCS. SKILLS University degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline Demonstrated experience of spacecraft andor ground segment procurement Demonstrated 5 year experience of in the Mission Control Subsystem specifications development and or procurement within a space system In depth knowledge of MICONYS SCOS 2000, FARC, PARC, etc. based Monitoring and Control Subsystems The ECSS Packet Utilization PUS and CCSDS SLE Standard TM TC Database design, implementation and testing based on DABYS, mysql MariaDB. SCOS 2000 based onboard software function. AIV related activities test procedure generation, requirements verification and validation. Anomaly reports ARs nonconformance reports NCRs handling, investigation and discussion with clients as well as the supplier. Eclipse RCP RAP. Java, C and C. GIT Version Control software. UNIX operating system usage. EU national or valid work permit for Germany CV in Europass format

For our activities in Germany, we are looking for a person to provide Consultancy Support on Data Processing Supporting Applications Engineering. TASKS Contribute to the definition, design, implementation and maintenance of architectures for data processing ground segments and their components with special emphasis on product quality control, calibration and validation, production monitoring and reporting. Support the operations of existing data processing ground segments and their maintenance and evolution. This will also include Upgrade software, including implementing and maintaining new algorithms for product quality control and calibrationvalidation activities. Perform routine tasks in operational systems under configuration control such as 3.1. Support the Configuration Management process and the building and distribution of software releases and patches 3.2. Support to the development, integration and configuration management of software developed by third parties, its installation, and configuration and testing 3.3. Anomaly investigations, documentation and classification 3.4. Follow up of the delivery of SW resolutions for any engineering change e.g. anomalies and evolutions Perform standard SW engineering activities such as 4.1. SW testing in a structured approach to verify that delivered SW is fulfilling the requirements or to demonstrate that problems have been corrected. 4.2. SW integration and verification in the EUMETSAT ground segments Settingup and implementation of maintenance policies and procedures Support to the procurement and installation of software, and the coordination with external providers of support services Participation in meetings and formal reviews. Mandatory Attributes, Skills and Experience University degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline Relevant experience in preparation of requirements, design, interfaces and testing documentation for data processing systems considering the systems engineering aspects of data processing management and data provision experience of data processing for high data rate missions andor Earth Observation missions is an asset but is not mandatory Experience in SW design, SW development, operation, maintenance and trouble shooting of large complex realtime data processing systems for Earth Observation missions. Competence in objectoriented software design and implementation possibly in the context of satellite instrument data processing systems. Systematic approach to work, including the ability to plan the work and to cope with tight schedules and multiple tasks Ability to write accurate and consistent technical documentation Ability to learn and develop the needed skills and knowledge to contribute to the development of Data Processing applications within the Supporting Application Engineering Team. This includes the ability to rapidly absorb, and make use of, information presented in written and oral communications in a dynamic context. Willingness to work within a multidisciplinary context in cooperation with other teams. The ability to maintain a system overview is essential. Heshe shall have a systematic approach to work, be able to plan their work and to cope with tight schedules and multiple tasks. They shall have the capability to write accurate and consistent technical documentation. Providing assistance, prepare and execute test activities in the laboratory and supporting in the following areas To set up and monitor standard, materials related tests in a variety of special environmental test chambers particularly Atomic Oxygen and Low Orbit tests, which simulate various space environments. Operating state of the art space simulation facilities UV and particles as well as synergistic testing and evaluation of the effects on materials tested. Supporting the inclusion of results in internal databases. Maintenance of the relevant test equipment. The Contractor shall ensure that the equipment under his responsibility is kept in an operational state and shall ensure that all necessary routine calibration and maintenance activities are carried out. To successfully perform the above mentioned tasks, the following background experience is required Technician level in Materials Technology with demonstrated laboratory work experience.
