ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY As the Engineer, Network Operations you will be working in the Operations Services Engineering group and will be responsible for the Implementation of cuttingedge global network products and services. The engineer will gain a broad knowledge of the SES Networks product range as well as SES Networks global core infrastructure. The primary objective of this role is to ensure SES Networks customers are provided the highest quality service throughout their lifecycle. Ben jij de persoon die ons lithografie lab operationeel kan houden en ervoor kan zorgen dat de gebruikers er op de juiste wijze mee omgaan? Dan zien we je graag ons team versterken en helpen onze doelen te verwezenlijken. Je gaat dat doen door op de ene dag te puzzelen waarom dat apparaat nu weer die hardnekkige storingsmelding blijft geven. Op een andere dag bereid je weer de installatie van die nieuwe machine voor, zodat we daar vele jaren op een betrouwbare manier excellente sensoren mee kunnen fabriceren. En weer een andere dag sta je voor een groepje enthousiaste nieuwe gebruikers de basisregels in het lab of de fijne kneepjes van de bediening over te brengen. Dat hebben we allemaal nodig om uiteindelijk onze missie uit te voeren. SRONs missie is het bewerkstelligen van doorbraken in het internationale wetenschappelijk onderzoek vanuit de ruimte. Daartoe ontwikkelt SRON grensverleggende technologie en geavanceerde ruimteinstrumenten. SRON bevordert maatschappelijke toepassingen voor ruimtetechnologie. De lithografiegroep is n van de gebruikers van de clean room van SRON. De wetenschappers en proces technologen hebben de beschikking over een mooie set van geavanceerde apparatuur om micro patronen te fabriceren en inspecteren, zoals opdamp en sputter depositiemachines, plasma ets en depositie, UV contact mask aligners, aangevuld met optische, mechanische, elektrische en elektronenmicroscopische analyse apparatuur. De patronen vormen de basis van supergeleidende detectoren en optische componenten. Een bijzonder project waar je al snel mee te maken krijgt is de verhuizing van al deze apparatuur en het weer werkend krijgen! naar een nieuwe clean room in Leiden. De sectie lithografie van SRON heeft een vacature voor een Cleanroom Engineer vm vacaturenummer 1612 Werkzaamheden Beheer van het lithografie laboratorium in de clean room met de daarin aanwezige apparatuur. Dit omvat het uitvoeren enof regelen van preventief onderhoud, calibraties, storingsoplossing en installatie van nieuwe apparatuur. Vanuit het gebruik signaleren van verbeteringen op het gebied van veiligheid, efficiency en doelmatigheid en ervoor zorgen dat deze gerealiseerd worden. Vanuit de fabriekshandleidingen creren van korte, duidelijke gebruikshandleidingen om daarmee nieuwe gebruikers te instrueren. Zo nu en dan zal ook gevraagd worden instructie te geven over algemeen schoon en veilig werken in een clean room. Gedurende het werk dient daar ook een oplettend oog op gehouden te worden en kunnen mensen aangesproken worden. Als de prioriteiten dit toelaten kan ook gevraagd worden een procesmatige bijdrage aan de projecten van SRON te leveren. Opleidings en ervaringseisen We zoeken iemand met HBO werk en denkniveau. Bij voorkeur met technische kennis op een breed gebied. In het werk komen we tegen vacumtechniek, elektrische installaties, koelwater en speciale gassen, besturingstechniek en fijn mechanische techniek. Elementaire kennis van de microlithografie en ervaring hebben met werken in een cleanroom is een duidelijke pre. Ben je communicatief, pragmatisch en kostenbewust dan pas je er helemaal in. Arbeidsvoorwaarden Aanstelling zal plaatsvinden in de functie van Cleanroom Engineer in tijdelijke dienst van NWOI voor in ieder geval de duur van 2 jaar. Van toepassing is de caoOnderzoekinstellingen. Maximaal fulltime jaarinkomen inclusief vakantiegeld en eindejaarsuitkering ongeveer 55.000,. Inschaling is afhankelijk van opleiding en ervaring. De standplaats van de functie is momenteel Utrecht. Medio 2021 verhuist SRON Utrecht naar Leiden. ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY As the Global Support Engineer I, RF you will be the first point of contact in the SES Global Services Network Operations team providing support to our customers both internally and externally. You are responsible for the technical fault resolution of RF infrastructure comprising of antennas and supporting equipment, and modems that cover the entire service path. You will work closely with Level2 RF Engineers to further develop and maintain enhancements in processes and tools to improve operational efficiency.
