Polyester staple fiber prices have begun declining in the last two days whereas filament prices have stopped rising in the meantime. PSF prices have been again raised in Pakistan, over a strong demand from spun yarn producers shifting out of 100% cotton to poly-cotton production. MEG prices have eventually declined at the end of the week, after experiencing a double-digit increase in a few weeks. Polyester chain prices could further climb in the coming period, in line with a seasonal rebound of China's textile production.
