EGNOS Ground and Operations Security Engineer

Position Reference 107 RHEA Group is currently recruiting an EGNOS Ground and Operations Security Engineer to support the Head of the GNSS Ground Segment Security, Site accreditation and Security Operations Unit at our clients premises in Toulouse, France. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Guidance and monitoring of the implementation of System Security Requirements by the EGNOS prime contractors, Follow up of the implementation of these requirements within the Segment design down to element level, Selection of evaluated secure element when COTS are selected or the follow up of the secure element evaluation during its development e.g. Common Criteria, Interaction with the Segment Prime contractors and its subcontractors for what concern security implementation, Site security measures, their definition and their implementation within the EGNOS Sites, Secure operations, the definition of the EGNOS SECOPS and the follow up of their implementation within EGNOS, Definition of the security operational measures in support to the security risk treatment required to cover identified security risk. Support to the Mission Security Engineering Board, Support to the EGNOS Security Accreditation Panel. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have a University degree or equivalent qualification together with experience in security risk analysis You have a consolidated experience in security architecture You have experience in penetration testing activities You have experience in System and Security Engineering You have experience in Satellite Navigation You are fluent in English, both in speech and writing, with excellent communication, reporting and presentation skills You have or are eligible for personal security clearance from your national security authority The following skills would be highly desirable You have experience dealing with security components and environments You are willing to travel within Europe You are able to multitask efficiently working on multiple activities, multiple subsystems and if applicable multiple missions simultaneously How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level? Position Reference 004 RHEA Group is currently recruiting for an EGNOS Security Engineer to work either on the security aspects of the EGNOS system or the EGNOS sites. You will be based at GSAs premises located in Toulouse, France. Tasks and Activities As a consultant for our customer, the scope of work will include Provide security support to EGNOS exploitation programme. Provide security engineering support to the preparation, evolution and maintenance of the security accreditation files for EGNOS system and sites. Provide security support to ensure compliance to the established EGNOS security requirements and follow up of the corresponding actions Provide support and technical advice to GSA procurement processes. EGNOS User Segment Engineer

Position Reference 003 RHEA Group is currently recruiting an EGNOS User Segment Engineer to support standardisation activities in the field other market segments than aviation maritime, rail, road, etc.. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Support the standardisation of SBAS services and SBAS receivers for other uses than aviation Contribute to write the service provision concepts with the user community, defining typical operational goals for the service, then determine and validate user segments requirements e.g. Receivers minimum operational performance specifications, or similar Contribute to the service engineering for other market segments than aviation maritime, rail, road, etc., notably by defining activities required to standardise the service, the system andor user receivers e.g. testbed, test user receiver, pilot project Support the EGNOS Standardisation Engineer in the standardisation of SBAS receivers within the standardisation fora of the different user communities, organising and managing the production of the deliverables and contributing to their edition Support the EGNOS Standardisation Engineer in liaising with the stakeholders which contribute to standardisation of EGNOS Services, notably by preparing publications, presentations and writing minutes of meetings Support the supervision of activities outsourced by the Service Engineering team for DFMC User Segment projects Contribute to writing technical specifications of GSA prototyping projects for maritime, rail, road and other market segment if need be Provide technical expertise for project reviews of receiver prototypes Contribute to preparing Technical Specifications for GSAs standardisation activities Procurement and Grants Contribute to other tasks of the EGNOS Service Engineering team, as necessary. Au sein du ple Navigation, vous prendrez part lintgration, la vrification et la validation dun projet SBAS Satellite Based Augmentation System. Ainsi, vous interviendrez sur le prochain systme europen EGNOS V3 European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service. Les activits dIVV mener sont les suivantes Dfinir la stratgie de test IVV et les moyens de tests associs . Intgrer le segment sol base de logiciels et dquipements RF . EGNOS PAS Programme Engineering Support

Specific Tasks Support the ESA PA Safety Manager for designated projects in conducting, monitoring assessing the implementation of the PA Safety Programme. This includes support to any or all of the following activities Establishing the PAS requirements baseline for all elements of the project, in compliance with the ESA general Product Assurance and Safety policy Produce and implement plans, define inputs, outputs, participants, responsibilities, interfaces, coordinate efforts of participants, and produce resulting consolidated inputs. Reviewing contractors plans, specifications and effort proposed for the execution of the project PAS programme Produce reports of review activities performed e.g. documents reviewed, checklists used, spot check performed and conclusionsrecommendations. Monitoring project PA status identify relevant PA issues, including NCR SPR Waivers Problems Critical Items and systematically tracking all items. Produce monthly reports of monitoring activities performed e.g. inspections, checks, visits, reviews, including conclusions and recommendations. Assessing the implementation of PAS requirements by contractors, participating in design and safety reviews and directing the necessary preventive or corrective actions Produce monthly reports with assessment activities performed e.g. documents reviewed, checklists used, spot check performed, contribution to design and safety reviews, and activities related to preventivecorrective action. Participating in the Boards established within the project for the disposition of Nonconformances Failure Reviews, Test Reviews, etc. Produce reports of participation to boards, indicating the contribution made to these boards e.g. review of agendas, participants, minutes of meeting, action follow up, closeout. Guiding and monitoring the application and procurement of EEE parts, materials and processes and controlling implementation of applicable requirements Produce reports on guidance provided, monitoring activities performed and status of compliance to applicable requirements. Monitoring the manufacturing, integration and test activities with quality assurance audits, mandatory and key inspection points, test witnessing and configuration inspections Produce report on activities performed with conclusion and recommendations. Defining the formal acceptance requirements and conducting the Acceptance Reviews of all contractual deliverable items Produce and implement plans for the preparation of the formal acceptance requirements, defining steps, inputs, outputs, participants, responsibilities, interfaces, and coordinating efforts of participants to produce resulting consolidated inputs to project documents. Produce also reports on the activities performed for conduction of Acceptance Reviews. Supporting the organisation management of the support from all PA discipline Controlling NCR Waivers Problems Critical Items. Produce meeting agendas, check that all inputs are available for the NRB or CCB, check that all needed participants are involved, produce NRB or CCB minutes of meeting, followup on actions identified, ensure proper nonconformancewavierproblemcritical item closeout. Produce also reports on control activities performed. PA for the verification, qualification, acceptance delivery activities. Participating in progress meetings and CCB meetings. Produce inputs to the meeting and whenever requested, produce meeting agendas, check that all inputs are available, check that all needed participants are involved, produce minutes of meeting, followup on actions identified, ensure proper closeout. Participating in all project reviews, including safety reviews. Produce reports on all review activities performed e.g. documents reviewed, checklists used, spot check performed, conclusions and recommendations. Reporting project PA status deviations from plan schedule of all of above. Requirements PhD or Msc Engineering from a recognised Institution of secondary studies or equivalent. Proven experience in PA Safety in the space domain. Knowledge of Configuration Management or the implementation of Product Assurance within a quality system certified to ISO 9001 would be an asset.
