You will be placed on assignment based near Frankfurt in Germany for several years. Candidates should ideally be available to start in October 2015 or soon after. Our client is responsible for establishing and operating weather forecasting and Earth observation GEO satellite programmes with associated data telemetry and dissemination operations. Vast quantities of data are produced and user communities throughout the world are able to access both current and historical data sets. The demanding realtime environment places much emphasis on adherence to quality and configuration management standards and procedures. The consultant will be part of the clients Low Earth Orbit Division performing system engineering and design activities.
