A New vacancy for a Junior Service Transition Manager has arisen within the Airbus Defence Space service management team in Newport, South Wales. The Junior Service Transition Manager will be reporting within the service management team, the Junior Service Transition Manager will eventually be responsible for the transition of specific Airbus services from initial contract award into the delivery phase of the ITL service model. During these quieter times the candidate will be expected to work with the Newport Service Lead to define and implement new standard and repeatable transition models depending on the service contracted. The individual will be both customer and internal business facing and basic knowledge of ITIL disciplines such as incident and problem management is required. The candidate should also be comfortable with a Project Management discipline. The candidate will be required to work independently within differing security requirements and client organisations.
