Sentinel 3 Mission Management Technical Support

You will have the opportunity to provide technical support to the Sentinel3 Mission Manager and the Data Quality Manager for various activities in the optical domain at our clients premises in Frascati, Italy. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include You will be supporting the Sentinel3 Data Quality Manager in the interaction with the Sentinel3 Mission Performance Center MPC, Quality working Groups SLSTROLCI and S3 External Validation Team S3VT Specifically support the Data Quality Manager in the daytoday tasks relevant the Sentinel3 Mission Performance Center MPC, including the review of deliverablesdocumentation Attend the S3 MPC and SLSTR OLCI QWG meetings and assist the Sentinel 3 Data Manager in tasks related to the meetings Prepare and attend the S3VT meeting. Maintain the S3VT implementation plan. Support the preparation of validation activities related to Sentinel3 optical domain. You will be in charge of data analysis for sample products of Sentinel 3, in order to cross verify outputs from the S3 MPC note, this is not expected as a routine activity, but for example after processor upgrades You will be followingup the relevant web portals Sentinel Online in particular for what concerns Sentinel3 mission information and news, including technical information. Support outreach activities related to the Sentinel3 mission, liaising with EO Communication officers. You will be supporting the preparation of relevant reports, including collection of performance indicators and statistics. You will be reviewing and updating Product Format Specifications for OLCI and SLSTR and other relevant user documentation as necessary. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have a Masters Degree in the relevant discipline and have at least 4 years of working experience in the domain You have a good knowledge of Sentinel3 OLCI and SLSTR instruments You have experience in other Sentinel missions You have experience in remote sensing application domains, in particular related to medium resolution optical missions, CalVal and algorithm definition, You have experience in generating MoM, You have a good technical and analytical skills You have good time management skills You are able to work under pressure and without continuous supervision You have a good knowledge of MS office tools and especially advanced skills in presentation tools e.g. PowerPoint, Keynote. MOC Mission Operations Center Controller Role Description Summary The position is responsible for the 247 support, management and monitoring of GovSat services, specifically supporting Governmental defence and CivilianInstitutional security communications. The incumbent is expected to take ownership, diagnose and resolve service anomalies in both the RF Payload and IP domains as part of a predefined incident management process. He She will also perform routine operational tasks such as spectral policing, trouble ticket management, service reporting and carrier lineup activities. As a member of a multiskilled shift team operating within a purpose built, GovSat Secure Missions Operations Centre, the incumbent will also support other GovSat operational systems involved in the service delivery chain. Vous participez au dveloppement des activits de mission satellite dobservation de la Terre ou scientifique. La programmation mission est une tape essentielle qui permet de programmer le satellite pour quil remplisse sa mission initiale. In fine elle permet lutilisateur ou loprateur final de consulter des images prises par le satellite ou de rceptionner des donnes scientifiques qui seront traites puis exploites par des experts. Ingnieur de formation ou quivalent universitaire, vous bnficiez dune premire exprience dans le domaine spatial et en particulier de la mission. Vous avez de bonnes connaissances des segments sol spatiaux et composants logiciels mission, ainsi que des cycles de dveloppement conception, dveloppement, assemblage, intgration et validation. Vous maitrisez des technologies informatiques telles que Java, J2E, eclipse, eclipse RCP4 ou JBOSS. Une connaissance de la chaine de programmation mission serait un plus.
