U.S. says alleged architect of Avon, Rocky Mountain stock hoaxes arrested

The alleged architect of hoaxes that drove up the share prices of Avon Products Inc and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory Inc has been arrested in Bulgaria and charged with eight U.S. criminal counts, federal prosecutors said on Thursday. Nedko Nedev, 38, a dual U.S.-Bulgarian citizen, was accused of having engineered bogus takeover bids for Avon and Rocky Mountain, and conducted insider trading ahead of a buyout offer for U.S. insurer Tower Group International Ltd. U.S. prosecutors said they plan to seek Nedev's extradition to the United States to face six counts of fraud and two counts of aggravated identity theft.

The key person will integrate a team of software engineers under the direction of the project manager in CS GmbH. The successful candidate will be assigned to the following tasks Software development in JavaEclipse RCPWeb, Bug fixing Anomaly investigation and fixes implementation, Support to technical meetings with customers, Intensive test and validation activities, Onsite support for critical operation phases, Project Reporting. PROFILE Demonstrated experience of 4 years in software development or maintenance in the space environment is required for this position together with knowledge and experience in Mission Control system and data distribution. In particular experience in maintaining andor developing EDDS software would be a strong asset. Academic background M.Sc. in Computer Science Engineer, Telecommunications Engineer, Mathematician with high Computing Skills or Similar, At least 3 year experience in Java and web development. Technical skills Very good level in Java and Web programing, Good level in Apache Tomcat developments, Good Knowledge of Apache Ant, ActiveMQ Good Knowledge of MySQL, Good background in LinuxWindows environments, Good knowledge in configuration management such as SVN GIT, Knowledge in LDAP, FTP would be an advantage, Knowledge in scripting language, shell, Perl, Knowledge in test management such as HP Quality Centre, Knowledge in management of requirements e.g. DOORS, Knowledge of CCSDS standard and ECSS standard PUS would be valuable. The successful applicant will join the Identity and Access Management department and will design Identity and Access Management Architecture for a large organisation and will focus on the French scope of Airbus Defence and Space.
