You will be responsible to develop and implement department toolsprocess improvement strategy in conjunction with objectives defined by management. As the Work Area Manager WAM for a given project you will be responsible for Onquality, OnTime and On Cost of the propulsion subsystem. In addition you will be responsible for spacecraft flight operations monitoring. Your activities as System Architect will be related to overall System aspects for endtoend instrument functional chains, i.e. involving the space segment satellites as well as the ground segment, the latter consisting of the data acquisition systems, monitoring and control systems, data processing chains and product dissemination facilities. You will be a member of the EPSSG System Team in the Low Earth Orbit Division LEO at EUMETSAT. Responsibilities In the frame of endtoend instrument functional chain activities, you, as part of the EPSSG System Team, will provide support for tasks related to specifications of onground data processing chains, definition of their interfaces, definition of space to ground data flows, verification and validation of onground data processing chains for imaging and sounding instruments.
