Objective To build and manage a pipeline of opportunities for Telespazio VEGA UK Ltds applications, systems and service offerings to the Satellite Navigation sector. These offerings include Systems Engineering expertise Ground Segment solutions Satellite Navigation Applications Telecommunications Applications Network Management Solutions Responsibilities Duties This opportunity will be based at either our head office in Luton or home, the key responsibilities will include Understanding SSA capabilities and being able to clearly articulate the benefits of TPZ VEGA solution to prospective clients Developing prospective opportunities within existing clients particularly with the EUESA navigation, ESA telecommunications programme ARTES, Inmarsat and Astrium Develop new leads and prospects particularly within the satellite operator and prime contractor market andor security and defence markets Meet or exceed order intake targets as agreed with the UK Sales Director Working with other Telespazio staff members, particularly the European Space Institutions ESI Key Account Management team to maximise Telespazio VEGA UKs position on ESA programmes Take responsibility for the complete Sales cycle from prospect identification to contract signature Work with Telespazio VEGA delivery, finance, bid management and legal contract teams to drive sales campaigns to convert prospects to signed contracts Assist in defining marketing campaigns and be a key participant in marketing events Qualifications Experience A degree or equivalent At least 3 years successful salesbusiness development experience Knowledge of, space industry and particularly satellite navigation technology andor satellite telecommunication is highly desirable Knowledge of ECESA programmes related to navigation andor ESA programmes related to Telecoms is highly desirable Essential Skills Proven track record of reachingexceeding sales targets. Ability to grasp new concepts quickly Customer centric Strong communication skills both written and verbal Excellent analytical skills Qualities Calm and organized. Proactive, highly motivated individual who can work on their own initiative and effectively as part of a team. For one of our main customers ESA, we are currently looking for a Technical Business development Officer, who will give support to the TIASRE team in the new ESA research centre in the United Kingdom. This centre is located at the world leading Harwell Oxford in Oxfordshire a focal point and cluster for the UKs rapidly growing hightech space community. The holder of this post will report to the Head of the Awareness Section. Heshe will provide support in the definition of the relevant programmatic and technical tasks as well as in the definition and execution of awareness related activities in the frame of the ARTES 20 programme. Heshe will be in charge of leveraging European userscustomers throughout the fields of Development, Energy, Food and Agriculture, Health, Transport land, sea and air, Security and Environment.
