Data Centre Test and Products Operations Engineer 1613050 Job Description We are looking for a Test and Products Operations Engineer for our client EUMETSAT. You shall support the Data Centre Operations team and your main tasks will include Provision of support to the daily monitoring and first line support of the Data Centre, and analysis and reporting of operational anomalies. Provision of support to the user queries received by the user service helpdesk regarding Data Centre services. Support to the development of Data Centre tools for monitoring and reporting. Provision of support to prototyping concepts for evolving the Data Centre services to support current and future EUMETSAT programmes. Provision of support to the test automation of the Data Centre evolutions. Provision of support to the development of new formats for the Archive data. Provision of support to metadata content and their specification in the new formats. Good knowledge of the testing and test automation for a complex hardware and software system. Experience of working with Earth Observation data formats, their visualisation and processing. Programming experience in Java language, UNIX environment, scripting in Shell and Perl.
