Airbus Defence and Space arbeitet als Hauptauftragnehmer der ESA an der Entwicklung und Implementierung eines europischen DatenrelaisSystems European Data Relay System EDRS. Das EDRS ist ein satellitenbasiertes Kommunikationssystem fr die bertragung der HochgeschwindigkeitsErdbeobachtungsdaten niedrig fliegender LEOSatelliten Low Earth Orbit ber geostationre Satelliten direkt zum Boden. Astrium Services stellt Kunden von LEOSatelliten EDRSDienste bereit. Wir sind auf der Suche nach einem EDRSServicemanager. Sie sind in Ottobrunn ttig und dem Leiter des Bereichs Service Management und Operations unterstellt. Sie bernehmen folgende Aufgabenbereiche Leitung der ServiceImplementierung whrend der EDRSImplementierungsphase fr den EDRSProjektmanager Leitung des OrganisationDesignProzesses und Leitung der entsprechenden Reviews, Aufbau der Organisation Service Delivery sowie Vorbereitung des EDRSDiensts fr den Start und die Leitung der entsprechenden Reviews Management des EndtoEndDiensts des EDRS whrend der Betriebsphase Einhaltung des EDRSErgebnishaushalts Einhaltung der Zielsetzungen in Bezug auf Kundenzufriedenheit Sicherstellung der ServiceErbringung gem den vereinbarten Service Levels und Bereitstellung regelmiger Berichterstattung in Bezug auf die SLA Management von Kunden und Lieferantenschnittstellen zu internen Einheiten Kontinuierliche Verbesserung des EDRSDiensts in Bezug auf Qualitt und Effizienz Zu den Aufgaben gehren im Einzelnen Leitung der Organisation und Service Design Reviews Vertragsmanagement technische und kaufmnnische Aspekte Prozessmanagement und Prozessverbesserung Management der Eskalation bei betrieblichen Ereignissen Management der Bereitstellung von vereinbarten ServiceKennzahlen Management der SLABerichterstattungsprozesse Zusammenarbeit mit Kunden und ServiceProvidern zur Definition, Implementierung und kontinuierlichen Verbesserung von Prozessen und betrieblichen Schnittstellen Sie haben folgende Kenntnisse und Qualifikationen Abgeschlossenes Ingenieurstudium im Bereich Luft und Raumfahrt oder vergleichbar Mindestens fnf Jahre Arbeitserfahrung im Bereich Service Management, idealerweise in einem raumfahrtbezogenen Feld Erfahrung im Personalmanagement und im Lieferantenmanagement, Ausgeprgte Kundenorientierung Teamfhigkeit und Fhrungsqualitten, insbesondere in Konsortien, Fhigkeit zur Teamleitung ohne Linienverantwortung Kenntnisse in Satellitenkommunikation und Erdbeobachtungsmissionen sowie in Missionsbetrieben mit Bodeninfrastrukturen Arbeitserfahrung bei der ESA sowie Kenntnisse in ESANormen Verhandlungssichere Sprachkenntnisse in Englisch und Deutsch Um eine zgige Bearbeitung Ihrer Bewerbung zu gewhrleisten, bewerben Sie sich bitte direkt ber unser OnlineTool www.airbusgroup.com und fgen Sie Ihr Anschreiben und Ihren Lebenslauf als Anhang bei. Airbus Defence and Space is currently developing and implementing a European Data Relay System EDRS as a prime contractor of ESA. EDRS is a satellitebased communication system for the high speed relay of Earth Observation data from Low Earth Orbit LEO satellites, via geostationary satellites, to the ground. Astrium Services provide EDRS Services to customers operating LEO satellites. We are looking for an EDRS Service Manager. You will be based in Ottobrunn and will report to the Head of Service Management and Operations. You will be responsible for Leading service implementation during the EDRS Implementation phase for the EDRS Project Manager Leading the Organisation Design Process and chairing the corresponding reviews the Organisational Requirements Review ORR, Organisational Design Review ODR and Organisational Qualification Review OQR Setting up the Service Delivery Organisation Preparing the EDRS Service for launch and chairing the corresponding reviews Critical Commissioning Review CCR and Final Design Review FDR Managing the EDRS endtoend service during the In Service phase Meeting the EDRS Profit Loss budget Meeting customer satisfaction targets Ensuring service delivery according to agreed service levels and providing periodic reporting against SLAs Managing customer and subcontractor interfaces with internal entities Improving the EDRS service continuously, regarding quality and efficiency Your tasks will include Chairing organisation and service design reviews Contract management technical and commercial Process management and improvement Manage escalation for operational incidents Manage the provision of the agreed service metrics Manage SLA reporting processes Liaising with customers and service delivery organisations to define, implement and continuously improve processes and operational interfaces We are looking for candidates with the following skills Engineering degree in Aerospace Engineering or similar At least five years of experience in service management, ideally in a spacerelated environment Experience in personnel management Experience in subcontractor management Teamwork and leadership skills, particularly in international consortium environments Ability to lead teams without line responsibility Strong customer focus Knowledge of satellite communications and earth observation missions, as well as mission operations ground infrastructures e.g. ESOC, DLR, etc. Experience in ESA and ESA standards English and German negotiation level To apply click here

The main activity will be the implementation and execution of test procedures as well as documentation of results. The task will focus on test cases on system level. The activity is part of the overall system verification and validation process.
