This is currently a long term consultancy position for a contract of 6 months, with the opportunity of becoming permanent for the right candidate. This position would suit an engineer with at least five years within the space industry. Your Tasks Definition and implementation of the SW quality program Definition and verfication of quality requirements for suppliers Monitoring of product quality during the complete SW life cycle Initiation and tracking of corrective actions in case of SW failures Surveillance and support of SW related verifications and validations Participation in internal and external milestone reviews SRR, PDR, CDR, Regular reporting towards customers and project management Your Qualifications A university degree in computer science or a comparable qualification Several years of experience in SW development Ideally, several years of professional experience in SW quality assurance in the space industry Experiences in application of SW process standards ECSS, ISOIEC 9126, ISO 12207, CMMi, ISO 15504, SPICE for Space Used to make decisions and communicate them towards suppliers and customers A skilled and confident negotiator with excellent communication skills Flexible, with a sense of responsibility, able to work independently Fluency in written and spoken English Willingness to travel

One of our space clients in Denmark is looking for a Product Assurance Engineer. The projects the client is working on are power projects for ESA and Non ESA customers. Most of them are either full ECSS or a reduced set of PA requirements. The possible candidate must possess a strong background in ECSS on hardware and possibly in power electronics. The quality organization preserves the quality management system and performs quality assurance activities in sales, development, production and project support. This is currently a long term consultancy position with the opportunity of becoming permanent for the right candidate, and would suit an engineer with at least five years within the space industry. Tasks for this roles Write Product Assurance, contamination, safety and component management plans. Participate and prepare milestone reviews PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, etc. with the customer and ESA. Provide Product Assurance support in the design process with respect to FMECA, WCA, Radiation, PSA etc. Prepare declared lists DPL, DML, DMPL, and DCL and drive the MPCB process. Perform Mandatory Inspections Points MIP on space flight hardware. Familiar with ECSS Standards. Your professional qualifications Applicants must have a university degree or equivalent in Electronics Engineering. Experience in working in the Aerospace environment is highly desirable. Experience in dealing with Space Sector is a distinct advantage. The candidate shall preferably have the following competences andor work experience Experience in Quality Assurance processes definition, implementation, monitoring and control. Experience in Quality and Product Assurance for design, development and production of electronic equipment. Familiar with ECSS Standards. Experience in working on collaborative programs between different partners Leadership experience with managing a small QPA teamdepartment High level in English, both verbal and written is mandatory.

This is a permanent position for an Engineering Consultant with at least 10 years specific experience in Quality and Product Assurance in Aerospace Space programmes. You will require good interpersonal and mediation skills together with experience on QAPA processes on satellite Ground Segments and satellite Mission Control and Operations. You will be placed on assignment based near Frankfurt in Germany for several years. Candidates should ideally be available to start in September 2015 or soon after. Our client is responsible for establishing and operating weather forecasting and Earth observation GEO satellite programmes with associated data telemetry and dissemination operations. Vast quantities of data are produced and user communities throughout the world are able to access both current and historical data sets. The demanding realtime environment places much emphasis on adherence to quality and configuration management standards and procedures. The consultant will be part of the GEO QA team whose work encompasses the implementation of QA processes in support of client activities. The following attributes are essential for this position 1. Significant handson experience in QAPA processes definition, implementation, monitoring and control, and QAPA performance metrics 2. Knowledge and application of aerospacespace Product and Quality Assurance standards 3. Knowledge of and experience in applying ISO 9001 Standards 4. Multiyear experience in the implementation of QA policies and methods in procurement contracts for complex products such as ground segment systems. 5. Experience in providing QA support to SW products throughout their complete development lifecycle. Experience in following HWSW products integration and verification 6. Tasks The Technical Scientific Support TSS department is responsible for providing all engineering, data product specification and project support expertise to the Operations Services to Users OPS and the Programme Preparation Development PRD departments. TSS also provides management support to all EUMETSAT departments via ist Process Assurance and Management Support division PRS, including quality assurance, defined as a set of quality policy objectives and responsibilities.
