Experience in performing user administration in MS Active Directory and Exchange. Knowledge of Outlook configuration and administration and troubleshooting in an MS exchange environment. Fluency in English. Desirable Skills and Experience Experience in hardware installation, maintenance and troubleshooting desktop PC, notebooks, network printers, scanners Experience in a structured, ISO 9000 certified andor ITIL based information technology service organisation. Specific Tasks The contractor shall support the HSOBP section with following tasks in this work package The contractor shall support assigned projects in the implementation of their industrial activities, in accordance with the approved budget and in agreement with the established administration processes and the ESA contractual and financial Regulations, and in the preparation of plans and reports concerning the programmatic aspects of the projects. i.e. schedule, cost, finance, configuration, documentation, progress control as well as risk related aspects, with the aim to provide full visibility on all activities related to project resources. Supporting preparation of work breakdown structures, work packages and schedule assistance in the preparation of tender and contract change documents covering management, programmatic and financial domains. Participation in the evaluation of proposals and change documents and preparing information required for subsequent contractual negotiations supporting contractual negotiations with industry in management, programmatic and financial domains controlling of assigned contracts with respect to financial commitments, cost, schedule, progress, invoicing, industrial return, deviation from plans and trends report generation and maintenance about financial, schedule and performance data. Update and maintenance of data in both directorate and corporate information systems. Provision of inputs to budgets, reports and forecasts support the documentation management. Monitoring of financial commitments for compliance with budgetary provisions and financial regulations planning and reporting inyear, multiyear, at completion on procurement, cost, schedule, industrial return, workforce, risks for the assigned programme. Preparation of forwardlooking estimates relevant to project specific data evolution as well as for future developments assisting to the definition and the implementation of planning and control procedures and assuring industry compliance with established formal requirements for management, costs, schedule and risks reporting monitoring asset evolution and maintaining an inventory of Programme hardware contributing to the risk management function through the identification of potential problem areas, analysis of their impact and proposal of remedial actions Support to the preparation of the financial contract commitment and the data entry of the milestone payment plans in the Agencys systems Collect, enter, process, and update all financial, schedule and georeturn related data in the databases. Mission The Key person will be integrated into the MTG QA Team which provides support to the GEO Division, and herhis tasks will be allocated to the MTG programme, in accordance with the plan and priorities assigned by the GEO QA Team Leader and the MTG GS QA Engineer. In this framework, the tasks of the Key person will include, but not necessarily be limited to the following Implement EUMETSAT QA policies in the assigned areas, in accordance with the MTG System QA plan and all relevant applicable Standards and Procedures, during all project phases to which this SoW refers. Support the GS QA Engineer in the establishment and recording of metrics to measure the effectiveness of the main processes within MTG Ground Segment activities. Provide proactive suggestions for process improvement, based on these metrics and other observations. Ensure that the MTG QA and MTG GS processes and connected working practices and procedures are available, adequate, maintained updated and correctly implemented in the MTG documentation and relevant activities, with particular reference to the documentation relevant to the Ground Segment Facilities. Work with and in support of the MTG Ground Segment Teams and its Members, in order to ensure that Quality Assurance policies and methods are taken into account during all GS lifecycle phases. Provide dedicated support for QA disciplines to the production and release of the technical and programmatic documentation relevant to the MTG Programme, MTG GS and its facilities and elements. Critically review and comment the technical and management documentation issued in support to the MTG GS Facilities procurement. Support, acting as Review secretary, the formal project Reviews and Check Points, ensuring that the relevant applicable Procedures and methods are correctly implemented. Support the MTG GS Facilities procurement activities and the connected processes, in line with the applicable QA documentation and requirements. After the selection of the GS Facilities successful bidders, support QA activities during the Facilities development and production process, interfacing with the EUMETSAT Technical Officers, the relevant crossdivisional Teams and with the Industry PAQA counterparts in order to fulfil the targets identified through the assigned work packages Ensure implementation of the agreed QA Plans and procedures within the Industry activities, including Subtiers. Support the preparation and conduct of QA audits on Industry and within EUMETSAT in the areas connected with MTG GS activities, in line with the MTG GS ContractorsSuppliers Quality Assurance Audit Plan.. Provide advice on any critical issue arising on the ongoing GEO programmes activities. Provide regular reporting to the MTG GS QA Engineer and to the GEO QA Team Leader on all aspects related to MTG GS QA activities. Attend and support the weekly MTG QA Team coordination meetings. Profile A University degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Sciences or a related discipline is required.The Key person shall have at least 5 years of specific work experience in the Quality Assurance area. Specific experience on QA on satellite Ground Segments and on data processing field will be considered an advantage. Work experience and skills matured on highly complex systems and products HWSW in advanced technology sectors will also be considered. In particular, the Key person shall demonstrate the mandatory specific skills as follows significant handson experience in QA processes definition, implementation, monitoring and control knowledge and application experience on international QAPA standards, specific knowledge of aerospacespace standards is considered a plus direct experience in providing QA support to procurement contracts for complex products experience in providing QA support to SW products throughout their complete development lifecycle, specifically on data processing and science products development experience on HWSW products integration significant handson experience in using Microsoft Office Suite and in particular with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access capability of understanding complex concepts in the area of data processing and data analysis and its implementation through specific software architecture Good interpersonal skills, including mediation skills.
