Contribute to the organisation and execution, according to the EUMETSAT applicable Working Practice, of the following reviews Formal Reviews e.g. SRR, PDR, LORR.. including Delta Reviews originated from the Formal Reviews Test Reviews e.g TRR, TRB, PTR inviting internal and external EUMETSAT participants. Boards composition will be agreed with or defined by Technical Officer on a case by case basis Internal checkpoints and keypoints, as agreed by the Programmes Management. In the area of Integration, Verification and Validation IVV Control and monitoring of the existing process Generation of reports on existing processes in place Generation of reports on new required process to be put in place as requested by the Technical Officer. Monitor and contribute to the Risk process by means of Reports on the implementation of the Risk Management process as defined in the applicable Working Practice Submission of new QA related risks as requested by the Technical Officer Contribution to the Risk Registers, as required. Gather lessons learnt, implemented as follows Sending the Lessons Learnt template to collect Lessons Learnt as requested by the Technical Officer Call Lessons Learnt discussion meeting collecting the gathered lessons learnt, and inform by email the Technical Officer of the Lessons Learnt gathered Performing the facilitator role and taking minutes of the discussion outcomes and actions . Update the Lessons Learnt programme repository and report to Technical Officer about the retained Lessons Learn Provide reports to the Technical Officer on the implementation of the relevant programme PMP and QA Plan specified processes. Perform additional QA tasks originated in the framework of LEO and CMD Programmes development, upon request of Technical Officer. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Experience in QA processes definition, implementation, monitoring and control. Experience in risks management and lessons learned processes. Experience in Anomaly and NonConformity management. Experience in supporting the collection of lessons learnt within a project team. Experience in a rational application of quality international standards e.g. ISO and ECSS. Experience in managing, reporting and followup of procured items. Knowledge of project management and project planning, possibly including the ability to identify and report on critical paths. Sound handson experience in working on collaborative programmes involving different partners. Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. The post holder shall therefore be capable to understand and follow activities carried out by the pool of project coordinators within the section Specific qualification requirements Masters degree MSc or equivalent qualification Mechanical Facilities Engineering or in Electrical engineering. Substantial experience minimum 5 years and a proven capability in building construction andor building maintenance or in the coordination of Facility Management projects. Sound analytical skills e.g. be able to analyse any technical issue or infrastructure installation and create a clear and detailed technical report for root cause analysis, improvement or repair as much handon technical as procedure thinking skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as in a team. An experience of ESA tender rules and procedures and of international procurement methodology would be an asset. The post holder shall have a good planning an organization skills, team spirit and ability to work in an international environment. Be fluent in spoken and written English. The research and development activities of the GNC Appliances Research Group extend to the holistic conception, development, implementation, simulation, testing, and verification of GNC systems for space applications. This also includes system and simulation technology for the entire development cycle of GNC applications, as well as the aspects of high availability and high reliability of systems.
