Responsibilities Duties Tasks You will have to proactively monitor and coordinate AIT activities in close cooperation with Satellite Engineering and AIT Managers, providing support wrt AIT activities, schedule and risks assessment, project reviews TRRs, TRBs, NRBs, FARQAR etc, in line with specific AIT technical competences requested, namely support integration, testing and launch campaign of Galileo FOC satellites you will be a member of the FOC satellite AIT team and will work in close collaboration with the other team members. sharing with them as a team the responsibility of supporting the productionAITEVTLC oncall support in 247 shift with other team members might be required during the test campaign such as TVAC. actively support AIT problems trouble shooting and resolution perform AIT schedule assessment, identify associated risk, propose mitigation actions participate to project reviews acceptance, flight readiness, launch readiness provide support to launch campaigns in CSG French Guyana Missions abroad to support AIT activities have to be expected, as part of the duty. Qualifications and Skills required The successful candidate will have least 10 years of relevant work experience in Environmental Test Campaigns and Launch Campaigns, knowledge and experience on MGSEEGSE, experience in management and monitoring of industrial activities specific knowhow wrt payloads activities andor satellite constellations. You may also be required to be eligibile for security clearance.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities The duties are performed in liaison with a team of microwave instrument system engineers in the Future Missions and Instruments Division EOP8M for the preparation of future ESA Earth Observation missions, in particular for new Earth ExplorerEarth Watch missions, Copernicus Sentinels, operational meteorology missions, Missions of Opportunity, Fsats and Scout missions. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Masters degree or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering or physics with background in microwave engineering or electromagnetics theory A good endtoend instrument system understanding of microwave radar andor radiometers Demonstrated experience in the theoretical derivation and software implementation of instrument performance models A good understanding of digital signal processing techniques General understanding of the modelling of wave interactions with the atmosphere and surface scattering Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team within the boundaries of assigned tasks and a stringent schedule Practical experience relevant to the tasks described above is an asset Good familiarity with programming languages and computer programs such as Python, MatLAB, ADS, Excel, etc Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
