Responsibilities Analyzing and solving problems in Javabased application infrastructure persistence, multiprocessing, networking, etc. used for the development of applications used in the flightdynamics and spacedebris domains orbit propagation, maneuvers computation, orbit determination, reentry analysis Designing, developing and validating new functions in already existing or in new applications of the abovementioned domains to match the clients needs. Updating or creating the technical documentation installation manual, user manual, design document Providing the client with firstlevel support. Within the Generic Systems and Infrastructure Division GSI, the Junior Computer Systems Engineers will support maintenance and evolutions of operational software intensive services involving Wide Area Network, cloudcomputing and big data technologies. This post is graded A1 on the EUMETSAT salary scales. The minimum basic salary for this post is EURO 4393 per month net of internal tax which may be negotiable on the basis of skills and experience.
