Le Centre spatial guyanais CSG est le port spatial de lEurope avec pour objectif de garantir lEurope un accs indpendant lespace. Trois lanceurs ou fuses europens dcollent rgulirement du CSG, avec leur bord des satellites de toutes nationalits Ariane 5, Soyouz et Vega.
