Meteorological Product Software Engineer 1613178 Job Description We are looking for a Meteorological Product Software Engineer for our client EUMETSAT. You shall support the Remote Sensing and Products Divisions RSP Atmospheric and Imagery Applications group AIA. You shall support the design, prototyping, operational implementation and validation of the product algorithms. The work is carried out in a small project team consisting of relevant experts. You will also be involved in the analysis and resolution of anomalies relating to the product generation software. Your tasks will typically include Maintenance and extension of a prototyping system Implementation, possible optimisation and validation of new and updated algorithms Acceptance and implementation of third party algorithm software into the prototyping system Preparation of technical notes on implementation issues and user guides, installation notes for the prototyping system Monitoring and operating the product generation facilities both for future ground segments or currently for the MSG MPEF Visualisation and analysis of geophysical products Travel within Europe may be required for certain activities.
