Cut fiber optic line affecting phone service

Phone service in Logan County was disrupted tonight due to a fiber optic line in Morgan County that was cut, according to Sterling City Manager Don Saling. Saling, who serves as the emergency manager for the city, said CenturyLink phones were without service as far south as Burlington and up to the Nebraska state line.

Polyester intermediate prices continue moving into different directions. Paraxylene and PTA prices remain firm, although downward polyester prices are again falling. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Eastern Asia and in India, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono-ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices. Asian Contract Prices (ACPs) are also available for the PX, PTA and MEG markets in Asia, with 5-year charts and downloadable historical data.
