This is a regular opportunity for experienced Engineers to work in the domain of satellite operations operations preparations in our premises in Darmstadt. This position is part of a Spacecraft Operations Engineering service to be provided to the Solar and Planetary Missions Division, with initial assignment to the ExoMars mission. This is a permanent position to work 100 on customer side in ESOC. The position should start 1st of January 2015 and the submission deadline for applicants will be the 8st of September 2014 RESPONSIBILITIESDUTIES Initially, the main areas of responsibility for this service are platform subsystems TTC, communications and Data Relay preparation, validation and maintenance of the internal and external interfaces for Mars data relay operations. The service provider may be requested to assume the responsibility and perform activities for additional subsystems or systems within the scope of general SOE services. QUALIFICATIONSEXPERIENCE A degree qualified engineer with experience in Spacecraft Operations to join the existing Telespazio VEGA operations team at ESOC.
