ZTE, Wind Tre and Open Fiber make 5G video call across the Mediterranean Sea

ZTE (0763.HK/000063.SZ) has announced that it has completed a video call on a 5G smartphone in collaboration with Wind Tre and Open Fiber. Based on a 5G pilot network in L'Aquila, the video call was placed using ZTE's end-to-end 5G solution.

Polyester intermediate prices could now drop in Asia, over a lack of demand from polyester fiber producers. With margins plunging at PTA and MEG plants however, operating rates may be expected falling in the Far East, therefore offering some support to material costs of polyester producers. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono-ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices. Polyester fiber prices could slightly decline in the coming days, as textile production is very slowly returning back to normal after Chinese holidays. Raw material costs of polyester producers are however rising over a rally of crude oil prices, meaning that any fall of polyester prices will be limited. Viscose prices have stayed frozen in the past days in China, over rising uncertainties on the market. Prices are however expected to bottom out in March, in line with seasonal trends.
