Configuration Manager Key Tasks and Responsibilities In this position you will be responsible for the Configuration Management CM of the ISS Exploitation Program with the following main tasks Ensure that the product configuration is fully controlled from definition to delivery and operations Implement Configuration Management Methods, Processes and related Tools along the entire product lifecycle to ensure the availability and consistency of relevant data i.e. requirements, design, manufacturing service documentation, changes, deviations and Product Services configuration consistency Conduct and coordinate CM activities and being accountable for CM process deliverables change, product structure update, etc... within hisher area of responsibility programproject level, major component level, component level with all involved parties programmes, engineering, quality, manufacturing, customer services Identify items to be placed under their formal Configuration Control Identify the requirements, the functional and physical characteristics of those items Ensure Configuration Control, to control and document changes to those characteristics and operate effective Configuration Control Boards CCB Ensure Configuration Status Accounting to record and report configuration status Ensure Configuration Verification and Audit to verify achievement of required characteristics. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification Experience in Configuration management for Space projects Knowledge on SAP and in state of the art tools within the area of a Configuration Manager is desirable Service and customer orientated person with high sense of responsibility and considerable diplomatic skills in connection with a good apprehension, high motivation and reliability High interest in technical challenges Person with selfassurance and the ability to make decisions independently Willingness for business trips Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of German is an advantage.
