Position Reference 105 You will have the opportunity to provide engineering support in preparation of test plans, procedures and test sequences for Satellite sytems testing during ambient and environmental test campaigns and preparing, debugging and executing complex test sequences on flight spacecrafts and test benches. Moreover, you will be responsible for writing test reports and supporting test and nonconformance reviews. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Interpretation of electrical and functional test requirements from test specifications Provide test solutions to meet the test specification requirements, from planning and kickoff meeting, through test sequence coding, procedure preparation and debug to execution. Close out tests with Post Test Review and Test Report To provide technical inputs to project test reviews Test Readiness Reviews, Post Test Reviews, Test Review Boards and Non Conformance Review Boards Development and debug of Automatic Test procedures ATP using a bespoke high level SW language Open Center checkout system based on the Elisa langauge to test the spacecraft systems Preparing and executing spacecraft system investigations in line with actions from Non Conformance Review Boards NRBs. Support Spacecraft systems functional and perfomance tests during environmental test in Munich, Germany Reference test, TVAC, Magnetic, EMC, functional and performance tests and potentially launch activities in Florida. Work to company and departmental procedures and maintain adherence to EN 9001 Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have a degree in an Electrical Engineering related discipline or have at least 5 years relevant experience in a similar role. You have current handson experience of writing test sequencesscripts for execution of spacecraft tests from the Central Checkout System CCS. Knowledge of Elisa andor Open Center would be an advantage. You have working knowledge of TMTC Databases. You have spacecraft systems and subsystem technical knowledge and awareness, e.g. Data Handling, Packet Utilisation Standard, Data Bus Communications 1553, Spacewire, Attitude , Orbital Control, Star Trackers, Gyros, Momentum Wheels, Power systems, batteries, Solar Arrays, Thermal Control, heaters, thermostats, FDIR You are familiar with the Windows and Linux operaing systems. You are aware of cleanroom disciplines. You have knowledge of Model Based Development Verification. You are willing to support shifts and travel overseas on test campaigns essential. You have experience in writing test sequencesscripts for execution of spacecraft systems tests including FDIR from the Central Checkout System CCS. You have experience in ElectricalSpacecraft Systems fault investigation and test sequence debug. You have experience with environmental and launch test campaigns. You have experience in preparing test procedure and sequences from test specifications, writing test reports and supporting test and nonconformance reviews. The following skills would be highly desirable You have experience with programming and scripting languages, in particularly writing and debugging LinuxUnix bash scripts. Knowledge of a programming language such as C, Java, python, TCL, VBA. You are competent in the use of various test equipment used for electrical measurements, e.g. DMM, oscilloscope, current probes, Data acquisition unit, data bus monitors 1553 MilBus and SpaceWire probesanalysers. You have spacecraft electrical and harness knowledge. You have experience in electrical integration of equipments on a test bench or spacecraft. Mission Control System Integration and Verification Engineer 1821042 Job Description We are looking for a Mission Control System IV Engineer for our client EUMETSAT. You will provide services for integration and verification testing of the Mission Control System, but will also provide services for integration and verification testing activities for the rest of Mission Control Applications and Tools of the Ground Segment including Flight Dynamics and Mission Planning Systems. You shall provide the following services to both the EUMETSAT LEO Missions under routine operations and EUMETSAT LEO new Programmes under development. You shall perform tasks in the following areas Integration Verification activities Integration of the various components of a Mission Control System and integration of the Mission Control System with the rest of Mission Control Applications and Tools. These integration activities include software deployment, software configuration, adjustment of interfaces, analysis and solution to problems. Generation and updates of test plan and test procedures for the Mission Control Applications and Tools. This activity covers functional verification testing, performance and nonregression testing manual and automatic testing. Generation of test data that facilitate the software integration, verification and nonregression testing. Execution and coordination of software verification and nonregression testing campaigns. This activity includes running the test procedures on the target system, generation of test reports, analysis of results, troubleshooting of problems. Contribute to development of the verification infrastructure development andor procurement of scripts tools to perform installation checks, nonregression, functional and performance testing. Analysis and implementation of mechanisms or tools allowing the automatic or semiautomatic verification testing of the application software. Maintaining the verification status of the software requirement baseline for the Mission Control Applications. Technical Management Documentation generation and updates of technical documents. Routine reporting preparation and production of routine reports as necessary. Meeting participation participation to technical, progress and team meetings as needed and requested. User Help Ensure Operations Continuity Provision of oncall and software services to operations. System Development Maintenance Skills Experience minimum 3 years in integration activities for Satellite Mission Control Systems based on the MICONYS software suite from ESAESOC for particular space missions. This includes software deployment, software configuration, adjustment of interfaces and troubleshooting of problems both at subsystem and system level. Experience minimum 3 years in verification testing activities of Satellite Mission Control Systems based on the MICONYS software suite from ESAESOC for particular space missions following formal software engineering processes. This includes requirement verification, generation of test plan and test procedures, nonregression testing, generation of test data, generation of test tools, running the test procedures on the Experience minimum 3 years in software development and maintenance following formal software lifecycle processes resulting in multiple customer deliveries covering production of requirements, design engineering artefacts and implementation reflecting corrective and evolution software maintenance activities as well as new applications definition.
