China Yarn Prices: Domestic and Import Markets (Weekly Report)
2018-08-07 14:22:23| EmergingTextiles.com
Polyester fiber prices have continued rising this week in China, as a result of inflated costs of raw material imports, and spinners have now reacted with raised prices on their end. Viscose fiber prices are showing trends of a rebound, although spun viscose prices are still falling. The continued fall of the renminbi has again resulted in higher cotton yarn import prices in dollar terms, in order to stay competitive with local spinners. Our weekly report covers the China yarn domestic and import market indicators, as well as local market prices in Qianqing and Shaoxing (Zhejiang). Prices of a large number of counts are released for spun cotton, polyester, viscose and blends. Import prices are also available for yarns from India, Indonesia, Pakistan, and Vietnam. Domestic and import yarn prices are compared. All data are available for download.
