The successful candidate will join the Products Space Physics Engineering France department. The product optimisation, engineering and operations group carries is in charge of the development of software products for the design and operating of space systems, and in particular telecommunication systems. Our solutions, used at different stages in the space system lifecycle calls for tenders, design, validation and exploitation and at the core of numerous function processes.Our software covers various problems payload design, harness optimisation, mission design support, validation optimisation, test data exploitation and inorbit operations for a large panel of space functions.In order to reinforce our rapidly growing entity, we are recruiting a software projectproduct manager. Passionate about software development, you will join an innovative team concentrated on creating products intended to improve the productivity of users and the efficiency of functional processes.In the shortterm, you will take charge of a software product You will analyse customer needs, define and perform revisions, and provide support to entry into service in France and at users. Based on your good knowledge of technologies, you will perform the synthesis of needs, understand the competition and the market, define the roadmap of products and you will be in charge of obtaining customer adhesion. In the mediumterm, you will expand your responsibilities to a complete software line.This position will require security clearance or eligibility for clearance by the recognised authorities.In this context, you will be in charge of the following activities Management of the development team, Coordination of the activities, Interfacing with various customersusers, Establishment, then implementation of the roadmap, Definition of RDRT axes, Demonstrating knowledge of all the customer functions activities, processes, interfaces, etc., Specification, architecture, coding, validating upgrades, Preparation of financial and technical proposals for the customer, Deployment of products within Astrium or to an integration stand Customer support and training, Reporting to the customer and management. The ESOC software applications include MICONYS, SIMULUS, TEVALIS, DABYS, EUD, and Ground Station Back End Data Systems. Good knowledge of one or more of these applications is required. Responsibilities Typical activities to be undertaken are Setup and maintenance of the Integration and Test reference environment and relevant configuration Installation and integration of infrastructure application releases Creation and maintenance of virtual machines containing a collection of infrastructure applications Creation and maintenance of test databases, containing the static and dynamic data required to perform the systems validation activities Installation, configuration, test, validation, verification, debugging of ESOC infrastructure applications MICONYS, SIMULUS, TEVALIS, DABYS, EUD, Ground Station Back End Data Systems Participation in Progress Meeting and Reviews Review of technical documentation and verification of compliance to the applicable requirements Production and maintenance of technical documentation, including test plans and test reports Collaboration with the ESOC Technical Officers for the acceptance tests activities of the main systems deliveries and patches Definition and execution of manual and automated test cases Measurement of systems performance Production of test reports documenting the outputs of the systems acceptance test activities.
