Main responsibilities For our activities in JRC, we are currently looking for a System Administrator Storage and Backup. Tasks and Responsibilities Administration of enterprise storage systems Netapp clustered DataONtap Configuration of storage protocols NFS, CIFS, NDMP Administration of enterprise backup systems EMC2 Networker Any relevant certification in these fields NetApp Certified Data Administrator NCDA, EMC2 Networker Specialist or equivalent are considered as an advantage Administration of complex IT environments Support for users of scientific information systems System administration of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure platforms System administration of Windows servers Windows 2008 and 2012 System administration of Linux servers RedHat Enterprise Linux, CentOS and others ITIL service management framework Production of technical documentation and training manuals for management and users. Ideal candidate Good communications skills in English and good knowledge of Italian Willing to work in a busy team where learning new skills is essential Professional attitude and serviceoriented attitude Ability to work in an international multi domain environment Good client facing skills working directly onsite with the client.
